Times when production went too far?

- Makosi vs. Vanessa housemate eviction (saving Makosi's ass) (Big Brother 6)
- All housemates facing eviction because Siavash refused to nominate (saving Marcus' ass, god rest Hira's soul) (Big Brother 10)
- Deciding which housemates moved to the White Room (favouring Conor's alliance over the Outsiders) (Big Brother 13)

What other times have production taken their power over the game a little too far?

They didn't choose which housemates moved to the White Room, the housemates had to choose between the housemates with the fewest nominations that week

It was the housemates with the fewest nominations in the entire game, not just for that week.

In the Charley show in week 3 when she talked about nominations with Billi they punished them by taking there votes away which meant that Charley wasn't up for Eviction anymore, Producers clearly needed to save the Queen of the show!

when they made deadwood the stars of the show and that series flopped.

No, it was for that week.

No it wasn't, it was just between those with the fewest nominations that week, and those four made the decision between them which three would go in. I despise that twist because of the result, but they didn't manipulate who went in at all.

Okay, but they manipulated who didn't get to go in.

- Final Pass
- BB16 4in4out

Jason. 10-06-2015 04:47 PM

Putting Ashleigh up for eviction, when they promised she would be immune, and then the producers saying "No Comment", after all the backlash it received.

You know you've gone too far, when the host of the show questions the producers agenda.

Evicting Danielle without a public vote.

4in4out.

Giving dullards Pav and Zoe the power to evict.
Toya losing her Power status.
4 in 4 out.
BB11 quad.
The amount of times the halfway housemates were swapped around in BB8 to save Ziggy and Liam.
The face to face noms nowadays.

They didn't go too far that time. They made it clear from the start that the Power Couple weren't safe.

Yeah, they really need to stick to a strict punishment when someone discusses nominations.

Um the Makosi vs Vanessa house vote at the end of Lie Week is one of the best twists of all time, and I detect shade against Makosi which is a ban worthy offence tbh

Any twist that saved Marcus over Hira is also a good one

The real answer is BB11's quadruple eviction, robbing us of one of the best, most deserving and unpredictable finale's in BBUK history. Instead we were left with the opposite.

Putting Nikki back in with eligibility to win

Pretty much what everyone has said, but also:

- Rylan being let out of the house for X Factor rehearsals without viewers being told.
- Mario Falcone being let out of the house to obtain a visa without viewers being told.
- Sam Faires being allowed to write her OK! column with a journalist in the house without viewers being told.
- A member of the task team being in the house to direct a task without viewers being told (see below).

- Perez being begged to stay after being told that the ratings were up without viewers being told.
- Hopkins being allowed a laptop in her private room without viewers being told.

I agree with the others you said but not this, I would love c5 to redo this.. the audience 'nominated' these two and the house voted Vanessa out over Makosi. It was brilliant to watch.

It'd be the equivalent to watching the house vote between Simon and Marc, and that's hilarious in my book.

Sensing a theme here and I agree totally. I don't mind the producers messing with the housemates, they deserve it lol. But they should respect their audience
