Thats So Disrespectful To Women

Is anyone else fed up hearing her say that ? is there some grand female hive mind Im missing are they all offended by the same thing even when its not directed at them personally ?. For someone whose a dominatrix she has awful thin skin when it comes to comments made to her as well as jokes .

alex_front2 11-06-2015 09:28 AM

Nope, Harry's been too softand lenient on his misogyny, if anything. I would have blasted him till he snapped and got him kicked out. If someone is racist, sexist to someone else it infuriates me as much as if it were to me.

Josy 11-06-2015 09:37 AM

Harry isn't exactly the type of person with good knowledge of respect and disrespect IMHO

chuff me dizzy 11-06-2015 09:38 AM

She would struggle to spell RESPECT, and has no self respect so is hardly in a position to demand it from others

alex_front2 11-06-2015 09:38 AM

Why isn't she. Because she walks arou d naked.....like Marc.

Because she uses her body for her job.....like Marc

Isn't Marc a scientist

Harry letting total strangers suck on her feet for 60 quid a go and then demanding respect is a BIG ask.

He's studying science. He earns a living as a stripper.

and what about the dirty old women rubbing oil on Marc and grabbing a feel of him? Come on Chuff, what's good for the goose and all that jazz

Bollox. If she chooses to do things to or with her own body, that's her decision. If someone else touched, used, insulted her or whatever - that's unacceptable. People who strip, indulge in sexual activity for money or whatever can still command the same respect as every other human being on the planet.

Crimson Dynamo 11-06-2015 10:52 AM

she has no idea about self respect so its a bit rich

lets not be under any illusions, Marc's comments to women are designed to provoke reaction. You don't hear things like, your hair looks nice today dear, you hear things like *** bucket etc. It doesn't matter if a person is thick skinned or not, Marc designs his comments to have maximum impact and unsettle those around him. When he doesn't get the reaction he wants, he keeps dialling up the offensiveness of his insults until he does, hence his warnings from BB.

What job Harry does is completely irrelevant to this. It is a job, it doesn't make her scum, a slut or however many other adjectives I have seen used to describe her here. She is a human being and deserves to be treated with the same level of respect as anyone else.

Equally, if I'm walking down the road, and I were to hear some guy shouting and swearing at someone else, I would find that offensive. It doesn't matter if I am the recipient or not. Its still offensive. Its called being considerate of those around you, and not being an attention grabbing, offensive prick

What irritates me is when people specify "disrespectful to women", as if disrespect towards a man would be less of an issue.

Rorkimaru 11-06-2015 12:41 PM

Harry is body confident and the way she dresses has no impact on her self respect. The one thing I'd say is that she may not have as much respect for her housemates since she was told that the constant nudity made them uncomfortable but initially refused to change. Now however she is clothing herself more. Regardless calling either of them a skank or a slut when you're seriously trying to insult them and put them down says more about you than it does them.

And yeah, I'm sick of hearing her trounce out that line after everything Mark says even if it's got nothing to do with women but just happened to be said to one.

She only uses that old 'disrespectful to women' line as a device to try and turn people against her 'enemy' Marc.

She doesn't seem to care about the notion of 'respect for women' at other times, such as cooking breakfast in a G-string.

Harry Amelia self-appointed spokesperson for all women?

it was vomit inducing when Mother Monster Michelle Visage told everyone she was the voice of the gays

Dash Darington 11-06-2015 06:22 PM

As soon as a woman starts acting like she isn't simply a woman, but rather that she is the embodiment of womankind, there's no point in talking to her.

What about dirty old men pissing on Harry and vice versa? Now I'm sure Marc wouldn't go that far ;)
