[Police are hunting a 14-year-old boy after a teacher
was stabbed at a secondary school in Bradford.
Ambulance staff called officers to
the city's Dixons Kings Academy just before 9am.
The 50-year-old male teacher was taken to hospital for
treatment to a stab wound. His condition is described as stable.

I've been at many schools in bradford and tbh, I'm surprised it's not happened sooner. So sad. At least the teacher is recovering and this isn't like what happened at the school in Leeds last year.

...truly awful for him and his family when part of his job and vocation is the welfare and care of young people...what make me sad as well is with this and also with Amber Peat who hung herself, it's hard to believe that these things happen because of having to do some chores or because of a mobile phone...and just too, too often in young people, mental illnesses, anxieties, stress and anger issues atc are just not being either detected or the help is not what it should and needs to be....

Probably because they didn't have the details when the link was published,most of the news reports today before the kid was found gave his description as Asian

Bradford schools are as good and as bad as elsewhere, in other news a teacher has been awarded a CBE for great work within the school, that will be a great boost for students and staff.
