Jack and Joel's behaviour towards Simon

Does anybody else think they're getting unnecessarily nasty now? Some of them in there are getting over last week's drama and giving him a chance, but these two seem to mock him at every given opportunity.

There's ribbing in good humour, and there's unprovoked nastiness and I think what they're doing easily falls into the latter.

And before anyone says "He brought it on himself", this is irrelevent to whether you're a Simon fan or not. I myself wasn't when this started (I only started warming to him recently since he's made an effort) and it still pissed me off before then.

nah, to be honest i think the pair of them have been instrumental in initiating simon back into the group.

I don't see how. Of the people who had issues with Simon, Jade and Nick have been the most mature about giving him another chance.

Jack and Joel insist on continuing to be dickish about it.

I thought the banging on the window and booing the other day during Jade's task when he was speaking was really out of order. No need for that

Totally agree :clap1: Joel also has sly digs at Marc, until now Marcs let them ride, but soon he's going to turn on him

I think jack has shown his true colours the past week. He can be bitchy and nasty. He has a temper and I just hate that he thinks he's going to win.

I find Simon just about tolerable at the moment and I really disliked him. Jack has become one of the biggest BITCHES in the house. He is constantly in the sky room with either Danny or another one of his cronies looking down at the housemates and bitching with an ugly look on his face. Considering his popularity on launch night he has dipped to nearly the bottom of the pile and he hasn't a HOPE of winning. I think everything changed when he was offered the car as he became big headed and nasty once he found out he was the publics 'winner' at the time.

I really didn't like Joel when he said so blatantly in front of Nick that he HATED Jade just because of one incident and of course the off hand comment about hoping she got scalded in the bath. Now I am neither liking him nor particularly disliking him. I think he and Danny should distance themselves from Big Bitch or they will do down with him or should I say up the stairs and out

They both need bringing back down to Earth and evicting.

I felt sorry for Simon last night. I never thought I would say that

Simon needs to stop being a big flop fanny baby and maybe people would respect him a bit

I thought it nasty last night when joel said he didn't want to be be in a room with those two referring to Harry and Simon ..he said it and laughed which ALMOST made it good humored..but then as the discussion went on he repeated it seriously "I just don't want to be in a room with Harry and Showbizz"

Seemed nasty to me to say it..and nasty to refer to him as showbizz. thought it belittling at best

simon commented about it asking if joel hated him so i know it didn't go unnoticed

and jack? well hes just a sweet guy who bellows angrily at everyone one and holds a grudge

Rorkimaru 11-06-2015 04:40 PM

I don't think referring to him as Showbiz is mean, it's just a nickname at this point and one that he pretty much asked for. He also doesn't seem to mind it. Nobiz on the other hand is a bit cruel.

I think the banging on the window was too much because of the way it was affecting him but it did seem good natured. They're not the types to boo like that if they disliked him. It seemed to basically be them saying "ah mate, stop being a tool. You don't need to justify, it's done and we've moved past it". At least that was my reading. I feel if they were annoyed they'd have found themselves a corner and had a bitch about it behind his back.

I don't think they specifically like him but they've gotten over most of the dislike and have a relationship where they try and include him and keep the peace. A bit of neutrality.
