It was a little while after they came up on the screen and after danny etc had started yelling, which made it even funnier

It was a nice gesture and statement actually. I didn't realise how close the two were. It just goes to show how much we lose in the edit. Mark is very protective of Simon. The disappointment when Sam threw him under the bus...

Gotta love Simon when he's not pretending to cry, he's actually entertaining
