Is Harry deliberately acting 'the victim'?

I'm torn. I think she has been targeted a bit too much. But at the same time I think she is exploiting the opportunity to look as isolated and upset as possible.

The fact she point blank refused to say hello to the new HMs while expecting them to 'come to her' is proof of this! If you won't greet them - that's just as bad as them not greeting you! What's the difference?

I know she was upset about just being nommed - but this is Big Brother! Nominations are part of it!

But if she had said hello to them - and then got blanked - THEN she'd have my sympathy.

But to ignore them, blame them for ignoring her and then launching into drama mode for the evening off the back of it - I find hard to sympathise.

How about you?

I think she's being bullied. She had the horrible treatment from Marc now she has to deal with Helen

Niamh. 16-06-2015 11:36 AM

I think she got a big land and doesn't know how to handle it. She thought she'd played a great game and had won the battle with Marc and won the old HMs over but it all blew up in her face with no warning or mental preparation and she went into melt down mode. I think she'll bounce back again once she gathers her thoughts and puts a new strategy in place. The good news for her is the ex HMs will be gone Friday (assuming Harry doesn't go as well) and she'll only have Marc to deal with again and she can handle him on his own

Nancy. 16-06-2015 11:40 AM

I think so. She knows what she's doing and is now trying to get the sympathy vote from the public.

..and those who say that Harry is being bullied makes a complete mockery of the true meaning of the word. I'm sick and tired of it being wheeled out whenever a fan favorite is receiving any form of backlash. She has chosen not to be part of the group because Marc has returned and she's throwing a hissy-fit and trying every trick in the book to stay in. Hope she get's evicted. Bratty children should be ignored, not rewarded.

I half agree with you and half don't. I do agree that she's not been bullied and is actually ostracising herself from the whole group because she doesn't like Marc, Helen and probably Nikki but I do think it's a genuine reaction to the nominations and the stuff that was said about her

Lostie! 16-06-2015 11:45 AM

I don't think she's acting the victim, she's just being stroppy.

Vicky. 16-06-2015 11:48 AM

I don't think shes acting the victim...seems to be some viewers determined to push her into the 'bullied' role. I think she is deliberately ostracizing herself because she doesn't like some people. However, what I saw last night was passive aggressive at its very finest. That girl has how to get her way down to a ****ing tee  Shame Marc/Helen/Nikki won't fall for it.

Shame Simon and Sam didn't think to play it as smart as she is tbh...you know, when she was awful to them...

True. Overuse of the bully word does take it away from the REAl victims of REAL bullying.

In Harry's case - this is not bullying. It's just part of the course of the game of BB.

If there was real bullying then BB would intervene. Unless of course you were Conor and then you'd get 50k.

I don't know, I would give her the benefit of the doubt.
I have really no time for her, she is someone I would avoid like the plague really.

However to have had unexpectedly that nomination shown and also knowing it was the view of all the 4 in the diary room at the time with Helen as just as the spokesperson for them all.

Then to see all the housemates rush to greet them as they came into the house,I would accept inwardly she must have felt devastated.
However, there may also be that fact she heard some real truth as to herself and that was also in part a reason she became so down.

I could feel for her a little but she has,to be fair, with Nick's assistance too, brought a lot of this on herself anyway.

sampvt 16-06-2015 11:52 AM

She got hammered from all angles and she had no exit strategy planned, so she has decided to enlist the help of the sympathy vote. Naturally she will be working hard on what to do next and Nick will prove to be pivotal in that plan, whether or not she dumps him as a mission of mercy, or solicits his help as the wronged and bullied woman, is yet to be seen but she is defo treading water and cant act that quick to fight everyone who is against her.

She is a powerful strategist like Danny and Simon so watch her go in the next day or 2. My guess is she knows the public might dislike Helen so she might go up against Helen and get some votes that way.

ItWasJustBanter 16-06-2015 11:52 AM

Definitely acting the victim.

She has lots of experience of it, all she has to do is mimic her clients' behaviour.

Agree with this tbh.

I don't like it when people are passive aggressive, if you have something to say then say it:fist:

However i do like her and believe she has been given a raw deal, it must've been hard to have heard the "legends:sleep:" say such nasty things. I wouldn't have gone racing to shake their hands had they been so mean about me.

bullied lol .........hilarious. shes a cold hearted prostitute in effect who uses lonely men to pay for her stuff and breaks hearts for a living, including that of a 19 year old teen virgin. disgusting. she has alienated simon and threatened violence upon marc and taken her moods out on the house and totally disrespected the fact they dotn feel comfortable with her being naked all the time especially around food. she doesn't care about anyone else

At first I thought she was just being stroppy, but watching her during the interrview task, I thought she did look really crushed. Not keen on her but still think that Nick has also used her. I hope she gets her mojo back, and really takes Helen to task.

lime 16-06-2015 12:27 PM

yes she is...without a doubt.I'm not saying she isn't upset she is.I'm sure she was thinking ok mark gone Sam/Simon/Jade next and she had a good chance of making the final.

How people think she is being bullied is beyond me.She got nomminated ffs.For now her sulking is causing the original to pussyfoot around her and she is loving it.
She frightened me last night in the diaryroom...I really thought her head was going to spin around whilst she was on the DR chair.

Would love if BB removed both her and Nick along with their bed...they are really draining to watch

the truth 16-06-2015 12:35 PM

she was lucky not to be warned for her various violent threats a few days ago

rionablue 16-06-2015 12:41 PM

Harry is a smart cookie. She knew that by going to the toilet to sulk that the others would come in after her and ask if she is alright and fawn over her. Harry gave up any chance she had of making the final by latching onto Nick and visa versa. She needs to grow the **** up, dislodge herself from Nick and try to enjoy what may or may not be her last few days. She also needs to show the legends that she isn't bothered about what they say. Even if she IS its always better to keep her chin up and act like its all a game which it IS. I am hoping Jack is up yet because he has argued with anyone who has put him up to date. He thinks is peoples and housmates champion. VILE

Livia 16-06-2015 12:41 PM

Harry has been singled our and now is being divided from the group. Anyone here who has ever been put in that position will be understanding of it. I really don't like Harry, but I think she's been put in a very uncomfortable situation by Marc and this has been compounded by Helen.

I agree with you to a point but lets not forget that when the shoe was on the other foot, she had no problem singling out and dividing Simon from the group either

(and Sam)

Liam- 16-06-2015 12:44 PM

Harry has been mingling with everyone today, including Helen, so she was obviously more than capable of being within the group, she just chose not to be.
