Yes, thank you I did realize that.

Just thought it was worth reminding everyone that we know these ex housemates well because there was 24/7 coverage. Back when Big Brother was good.

As Emma Willis knows full well.

I don't think everyone needs reminded about the lack of live feed constantly tbqh, I probably want live feed back as much as if not more than you but the producers aren't budging on it so whats the point in keep pointing out the obvious.

Also a lot are still enjoying the show.

You say the producers... Not sure it is them. No one seems to know. Seems to be the owners of the channel.

I should ask though, you seem to be involved to some extent with the running of this site... BB Spy makes a point of campaigning for the live feed, I don't know why more fan sites don't make their voices heard. It's just the lack of even trying to convince them that the show suffers without it that irks me.

Even I've started enjoying it this week, but it's reliant on all these ex housemates.

It's nothing to do with the owners its more to do with there would be no financial gain in bringing it back

Of course it's to do with the owners, they make the decisions.

There's no financial gain in continuing to let the fans of the show down to the point where more and more are turning off. If a business acted like that it would go bankrupt.

This is what is depressing to me. There are fans who actually now argue against the live feed.

Most fan sites have attempted to get LF back, sending emails to endemol, channel 5, Ben Frow, fans have signed umpteen petitions and so on, Ben Frow did manage to keep to his word and bring it back although the time they put it on was all wrong (7pm in the evening for 2 hours) so the viewers let him down, ratings were **** and he had to get rid of it again.

That was my mistake saying producers above, it's apparently channel 5 that don't want a live feed.

And where's Pete Burns man?

They brought it back for 2 hours every night at midnight. And that was the highest rated series on Channel 5. And 2 hours of live coverage when everyone was asking for the 24/7 feed on the internet (which is not subject to the same regulations as television) is rather poor. The viewers didn't let them down. They knew full well that putting 2 hours worth at 7 pm when the soaps are on was never going to help

I sort of understood it when Desmond owned Channel 5, because it was all just a vehicle for him. But I figured viacom might actually listen. I still think after this very badly performing year they will have to have a meeting about what to do next year to makes things better. When the presenter is now arguing for 24/7 live coverage, surely people should be asking for it in some sort of online format like just about every other BB in the world has.

zakman440 17-06-2015 10:46 PM

It's such a shame really, this week would have been the perfect opportunity for them to trial a paid online feed.

Why not go ahead and do something then?

Contact Viacom, email endemol, message Ben Frow, start a petition or do all of it.

I figure it's something social media sites and fan sites could have more power doing collectively. I signed a few of the petitions. The only one who seems to get back to people from what I can tell is Frow. But he seems to be a bit of a liar. Apparently they were looking at putting the 24/7 coverage on one of the MTV channel according to Oathy, but it looks to me like that was a lie to get him off their back. Oathy persists with all his info, sending it to the guys at Viacom now. He doesn't get any response from them or this Samwell Smith character.

We've done all we can. We've contacted the right people, raised the points with numerous people in charge and nothing has changed. Streaming won't return really and that's all we can do.

Channel 5 never looked into putting 24/7 coverage on an MTV channel that's a lie - MTV hasn't got the channels available and they have their own content to show. Channel 5 would need to air it on their own networks, or online. We as fansites (Me, bbspy and Big Blagger) have basically done all we can, we can't do anything else.

I know Oathy has. And he's continued to do so. Frow seems quite open to the idea, but then he always disappoints.

Viacom own these channels, and according to Oathy from Digital Spy who has been in constant contact with Ben Frow, that was said to be an option they were looking into. Nothing came of it of course. Was Frow lying?

After the poor ratings this year, the dire state it's in and Emma Willis even calling for the live feed, these arguments need to be made and remade if they are ever going to listen. Some of the people involved in the show must want it and it's much more convincing for them to argue for it to the people upstairs when every fan site is calling for it.

Unfortunately it's now got to the point where fans won't even argue for it anymore and just think it should be axed in favour of CBB (which will be axed soon after)

Calderyon 17-06-2015 11:11 PM

If Live Feed was a person, it would be in a coma right now.
