Cant Joel have a conversation

Ive been watching this little prick for weeks now and he cant hold a convo, he constantly interviews people. Is this his game plan because its getting boring. The little tosser is in there to feather his nest for when he gets out. This is the shape of BB and one I hate.

alex_front2 19-06-2015 09:33 AM

It's a good gameplan. People like Helen and Marc love sound of own voices and giving their opinions. Joel saw Cristian was frustrated so interviewed him, too as the wannabe Rapper wanted a platform to vent. Human nature means people will have no issue if someone feigns an interest in them.

Liam- 19-06-2015 09:58 AM

He's doing amazing, he's asking the questions people want to know the answers to, like with Cristian last night, he asked the question, then got out as fast as he could, top guy.

Josy 19-06-2015 10:04 AM

It seems that way IMO, don't get me wrong he does ask them pretty good questions but it all seems to be worked out into an interview routine in his mind beforehand, I think he wants his own chat show tbh.

This is the main reason why when he starts speaking or Marcus narrates that he's speaking I think 'Oh no'

I tend to agree with you. He is annoying.

But the biggest joke was when someone on here said Joel is mature. :D:joker:

Yeah if you call having the intellect and thinking of a 13 year old mature.

I cannot believe so many people have been taken in by him.:joker:

That's what I have been saying Sam... There's having ambition and plans for your futute...but all he does is interview people as you say...probing into other people's lives....
Can't he have fun...he is 19 ffs.
He is a massive bore...he was also the only one to get someone close in to lift his spirits..everyone else got strangers giving opinions.
It's so biased.

Visage 19-06-2015 10:23 AM

Another one of my early favourites who is starting to grate on me. I'm really put off by how he tries and sound like he is interviewing everyone.

I don't think he wants to be a politician anymore, I think he wants to be David Cameron.

he is a politician..he doesn't have conversations..he has debates .. or just asks leading "got you questions" guaranteed to make his opponent look bad no matter which way they answer.. i hate it

 i know..cause i do the exact same thing myself

chuff me dizzy 19-06-2015 10:24 AM

Agree 100% no conversation, just an interview when he talks to the other like they are beneath his shoe ....boring, sly little pratt

PAST: Big Brother could make you famous. What has been your closest celebrity encounter to date?

I've met a couple of politicians at a member of the Conservative party and secretary of Cardiff North Conservative association. This election was a great weekend for me and it's a great weekend for our country!

PRESENT: Which traits do you find most annoying in a Housemate?

I don't care if a person doesn't have my political view as long as they have got a view. We'll have a debate. I'm going to win, but I love a debate!

FUTURE: What will you do with the money if you win?

I have a Fiat 500 and it's great. It's automatic but you can't tell people that because I can't handle the clutch! They do this Ferrari edition which has a Ferrari engine in it. And it's automatic!

PAST: Which former Big Brother Housemate would you say you were most like and why?

I haven't really watched it, but my mother loves Big Brother and she encouraged me to apply. I haven't heard good things about Perez Hilton!

FUTURE: Are you looking for love in the Big Brother House?

I am 19 years old and I am having fun being a singleton. I don't have any interest at the moment in finding love, especially in the Big Brother house.

PAST: What has been you greatest achievement?

I was appointed the youngest school governor in Wales and I'm a local community councillor. That was a big achievement for me because I think it is great to represent people.

Interesting and proves my point,he's never watched BB before and Pushy,Gushy Mummy pushed him into entering

my apologizes let me rephrases it...

he pictures himself as a politician and to the extent he wants to be PM..he doesn't have conversations..he has debates .. or just asks leading "got you questions" guaranteed to make his opponent look bad no matter which way they answer..

Fantastic post Chuff, just as I said, Mutton Mummy is his driving force and he is only a COMMUNITY officer, as far as being a politician, that's tantamount to being in the Territorial Army and telling people you are in the SAS. Born liar and born game player.

David Cameron is a politician, I think he wants to be Paxman

Crimson Dynamo 19-06-2015 10:41 AM

His mother seems a right piece of work so its no surprise

Mick 19-06-2015 10:51 AM

He is very diplomatic even when annoyed. What I would like to witness is him really losing it with someone. I don't think this will happen but would be interesting to watch.

Nancy. 19-06-2015 10:52 AM

His pushy mother is one of the reasons why I've gone off Joel.

First she was on BOTS gushing about how her little soldier should win and then they let her waltz through the house to blurt rubbish. Why is she getting preferential treatment?

I noticed this too, he's so fake no wonder he's always in the bath alone.

Perhaps I should have said

I like his style really.

It is hard to get a conversation in the BB house of any worth from anyone and it may well be he has had many general conversations with the others, however BB only show the more probing question ones.

He will, being in politics be more at home with a questioning and answering situation probably,he does elaborate really well when asked a question of himself, such as in the task, where he was asked about Harry and Nick's relationship.

It is what we get shown from BB, we see barely 40 minutes, after recap of previous events and then adverts of all that goes on in a 24 hour day in the house between them all.
Joel is likely a housemate, they want to show a certain way and having his career and interest in politics, present that main element as to him more than anything else he does.

Had they selected another housemate who was a supporter of another party then I feel sure in debate that we would have seen far less questioning from Joel and much more in depth revealing of his true values.
As it is, being politically articulate he is a little lost in there really as few, if any, have any interest in politics at all.

Joel is not into showmances or particularly arguing for arguing's sake either so that is likely to isolate him even more.

I really like him however and cannot see a thing he has really done wrong, then again he is very like how I am so maybe I have developed a bit of a bias as to his corner.

Pete. 19-06-2015 11:52 AM

I don't get his appeal

Leaves me with the impression the family has connections somewhere..thought it really odd she was the only family to go in and her comment that BOTS didn't have enough "positive" stories about him..its like a campaign manager calling a paper to complain...i don't know..it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth
