So Danny has a row with Helen - Why no video or twitter update about it?

What is the point of the website or the twitter updates if it isn't keeping us informed as to what is happening in the house?

The first we hear about these things is in the previews for tonight's show.

Jemal 19-06-2015 06:51 PM

Saving it for hl show, hinting and teasing on social media hoping people tune in to find out.

Josy 19-06-2015 06:52 PM

I really don't know why you ask on here, email the producers

It's a talking point about the show. Why wouldn't I discuss it on a Big Brother forum?

Because Helen battered him :hehe:

So once again a show that used to have an immediacy about it, even without the live feed, is now holding things back from the viewers in the hope that people will tune in to see it after advertising it earlier on in the day for the HL show.

It's a relatively minor thing in this shower of **** production this year, but again, they are treating viewers who are trying to get involved in the show and keep up with what is going on with contempt.

alex_front2 19-06-2015 07:06 PM

It also demonstrates how the producers can conceal events at will if they don't fit a pre ordained narrative. If Danny had this argument with Marc it may never have seen light of day. Remember BB11 Jay's poo in freezer that we only discovered when Heaven was evicted.

How on earth is it a talking point if we haven't even seen it

And I wasn't meaning the thread topic anyway I was meaning these questions that you keep asking, only the producers can give you the answer.

And in all honesty, if I was producing a show I would want to keep at least some of the more interesting things for the 'highlights' hence the name of the show.

bitontheslide 19-06-2015 07:09 PM

they usually hold back high octane stuff and only show it in the h/l show. They did the same with the danny/marc argument on marcs first night

The talking point is the production decision to keep it hidden.

Yes, and a forum is here for discussion and speculation about the show and the motives behind the bat**** crazy decisions these people keep making.

Didn't use to do this.

I remember last year it kicking off with Ashleigh and Helen and everyone rushing to watch the videos on youtube. They were desperate to get people talking about what had just happened immediately after it had happened. Now they don't inform us what is going on at all. What's the point of twitter updates? They don't tell us nomination results, they don't tell us about arguments. They just tell us that Jack has scratched his nose and Marc is snoring and that's it.

What about before the rise of social media then? you never knew everything that was going on then unless you watched the live feed constantly..

I did watch the live feed. And if I missed anything it was invariably being discussed on DS. And videos would be put up on the website, along with news stories covering it. As I said, even last year they were keeping us better informed of what was going on than they are now.

Now, we get a video of one argument but other arguments are kept behind. It's a confusing mess.
