How much more verbal abuse will BB allow

from Helen of several HMs before they do something about it?

Their attitude seems to be if no one gets physically attacked, it's ok - but verbal abuse is just as serious and should not be tolerated either.

However, if your name is Helen, BB producers seem to apply different rules. When will BB realise that people are sick of it. Last year's show was ruined by it, this year's show is being ruined by it. They really do seem to have a death wish.

Till she says the N word, they will continue to enjoy the "controversy" she brings.

joeysteele 19-06-2015 11:26 PM

Oh crumbs, no playfighting, no aggression, no statements that could be racist or offensive to 'groups' in society.

Now they should be stopping them arguing and getting heated, they may as well gag them all on entering and have them say and do nothing at all.

Vicky. 19-06-2015 11:28 PM

Good god, is it really being suggested that someone should be thrown out for arguing D:

Well actually you've proved my point. If they did make a racist comment, they would be thrown out. It's the law for one thing. So what exactly is different about verbal abuse? It should not be tolerated.

Agree. It's getting very uncomfortable to watch now. The trouble with Helen is that she has no concept of knowing when it is getting inappropriate. She takes things too far. If this is the way future BB's are going to go then I think I will be bowing out. This is just not BB anymore. Just a load of manufactured conflict is not my idea of entertainment.

There's a difference between arguing and verbal abuse. So, no, I'm not suggesting that.

I haven't with respect,I would like to see the housemates with a near total free run really, see how they develop and how they really are, not having to tread on eggshells.

I can understand why racist comments etc have to be unacceptable but not generally insulting comments to another when in a heated argument.

If we saw and heard the 'real' housemates with their 'real' thoughts then we could make far better judgements, good and bad as to them more easily.

So what has Helen said that would be classed as verbal abuse then?

I know shes a twat and shouts a lot, but I honestly don't think she has abused anyone in there D:

Helen very rarely goes too far, she is just very good at pushing peoples buttons. It's a skill really. If anything it is the person at the other side of the argument that will get in trouble because they don't know how to handle it

Re-hear the arguments and you will hear - each one includes verbal abuse "Weirdo", "Cokehead" etc. Just open your ears. It is breath taking to me that people even have to point this out. It should be so obvious that people's moral conscience shouts it at them in every single argument she has. She NEVER respects the people she is arguing with

"Pushing people's buttons" - it's called verbal abuse. And it's not a "skill". It is unacceptable.

Yeah, no it's not as serious. There's a big difference between someone saying words you don't like and getting punched in the face. Grow up.

Someone was thrown out for waving his dick in the wrong direction...

Lampfan 20-06-2015 01:41 AM

Bit of a stretch to suggest this.

Lets try and be sensible...

Beetlejuice 20-06-2015 01:42 AM

Anyway, the only people being abused are the viewers. And we do it willfully. :bawling:
