How much disposable income.. (random question)

How much disposable income would you get from the 16-year old minimum wage of £3.79, assuming that you worked part time?

I know that you cannot get an exact amount, but what would be the rough estimate? I'm just thinking ahead really, because this is probably something I would be doing when I turn sixteen in just over a year. (I'm 15 in september)

I would probably do this while in university as well because I know I want to go there although the minimum is slightly higher again (£5.13) so how would that work out?

I know i'm thinking super ahead, probably far too early, but I am just curious and also bored.

I don't know what you mean by disposable income... Because I define it as money left over after you have taxes taken off, after your bills are payed, after the nessesities in life like food and clothes are bought, and after you pay into you RRSP's or retirement ventures...

Now I assume most of this does not apply to a 16year old, but I don't know your situation, if you have to pay for your own transit to and from your job, if you have a cell phone and data plan you are responsible for, if you are forced into independance in such a way as to have other bills...

So essentially, it is all disposable to a 16 year old, but not all 16 year olds live in an ideal situation.

Theres no chance anyone can estimate that for you since you haven't stated how much hours you roughly plan on working, what bills if any you have to pay and so on.

Until you know where you'll be living josh it's hard to say, shared accommodation will of course be cheaper but there will be downsides if you get bad hm ...like BB
