It's pretty obvious that Cristian wasn't going to vote for anyone but Simon or Sam. Why would he vote for any of the others when he is friendly with them. He would have nominated Marc but no one gets the flipping chance.

Cristian has the sense to nominate the opposition...sounds about right to me.

Think you will find he termed Joel as one of his best friends in there hence why he was upset when he ignored him for days. Because Marc and Helen are bullies...aggressive and repulsive. They aggravate the most placid people and provoke them until they react in a way that their nature doesn't usually allow them to react. That's why they are reduced to tears.
