What even was the point of nomination tag?

When only one housemate is saved (and Marc, now regarded as a BB legend by producers) , the rest of the house are up

A mess, I thought nothing would top the trainwreck of Chris' nominations last year where there were 7 people up, and Toya's power week when 8 housemates were up.

I don't know why BB keep trying to mess with the format so much and in turn ruining this dire series further

MB. 23-06-2015 05:54 PM

To put most of the house up but still create a bit of drama.

I quite like the idea.

Ant. 23-06-2015 05:54 PM

Isn't Chloe safe as well?

I guess it's so that we can see the 'fall out' because friends eventually had to nominate each other which caused upset, which the producers see as 'entertainment'

Withano 23-06-2015 05:56 PM

It really could have worked too, shame. Like I wouldn't have even minded them doing this throughout the entire series.

Only Chloe is safe (and Marc but Ofcom will deal with that)

Shaun 23-06-2015 06:07 PM

drawing out the nominations process in the most public and contrived way possible, of course

JoshBB 23-06-2015 06:22 PM

7 weeks in.. no normal nominations. They only have around 4 more rounds of nominations too..

Griffin5779 23-06-2015 06:23 PM

I thought the point was to let the originals knows where they stood with the others in the group...great idea..i think they should do it often

LukeB 23-06-2015 06:24 PM

To get jack out :fc:

I prefer normal nominations so that we know where people stand with the group. Not all this "we've connected the least" or "we talk the least" bs so they don't get put up next week.

It'd also help to stop revealing diary room nominations to the house, all it does it mean that in the future people will be less honest with their nominations in fear of it getting shown. Plus diary room rants are always shown, making people less inclined to do those.

RichardG 23-06-2015 06:29 PM

it's all about the drama of course

It is a bit crazy. It's a twist on the face to face noms (which is already a twist). Soon they'll have to do a twist of the twist they already twisted.

I'd love a guest on BOTS to just tell them this is the worst series of all time.

Here for it

JTM45 23-06-2015 07:17 PM

They wanted everyone up to try and cash in on the voting before people lose interest in the series completely.
Doing it this way they thought that it would get people turning on each other and cause arguements and stuff. I suppose it worked in a very minor way but on the whole it was just another terrible idea that these ridiculously incompetent producers came up with that has flopped........yet again!!!!!

Such a truly dreadful series!

guess it depend how you look at it...with diary room it always..this group against that group...i like the idea of forcing them to deside within their own group sometimes.

i also think the ."pick someone and they are up" is good ....prevents the "I only voted for you because i know no one else will so you won't be up crap" also prevents the safety in number group crap since you have to worry that it just takes one person pissed off to put u up

there are merits in both means of nomination as i see it

We've had too many face-to-face noms so they should know by now

Actually that is a very valid point. Good question.
