Two ex housemates suing her in the space of a week is pretty good going to be fair.

Even people in the wrong deserve defense when claims are being exaggerated. Helen did not break any laws in regards to defamation of character. She wasn't nice and she overstepped but she didn't defame. It wasn't slander.

Why else would they be all over Brian now, being nice as pie? when a housemate 'walks' and breaks the contract, they usually are not very happy with that housemate and certainly wouldn't be inviting them onto BOTS.

You cannot be arrested for slander in England. It's a Civil Court matter not a criminal one.
