i think it says a lot about Chloe & Sam that people can't even be bothered to vote in a poll about them. like it's not worth voting :joker:

The whole 'fence sitter' talk I find boring and it pains me that the likes of Helen Wood and Katie Hopkins have led viewers of the show to believe that not shouting and screaming opinions at others (or "telling it like it is") results in a bore/fence sitter.

We can all pretend that we love getting views across and telling it straight but the point is, forums and social media aside, the majority of us don't like confrontation and would quite happily either ignore a situation or have a bitch about it with somebody else rather than go all guns blazing at somebody or something we have an issue with.

The fact that housemates are 'called out' for expressing opinions in the diary room is also ridiculous. The diary room is what it states; a diary. Housemates have the right to use it to offload and discuss/give certain opinions on happenings/events during the day because that's what it's there for. Not everybody needs to always make their opinions and thoughts known, because that's not how all people work.

Exactly Jake. Fence-sitting has always been one of the worst BBUK cliches (shout out to Rachel Rice for winning in spite of her haters <33333) but it really went out of control last CBB with Katie Hopkins' absurd insistence that there are exactly two sides to every issue and the worst thing you could possibly do is not take a side. In reality, expressing your every last opinion is actually really antisocial and not how normal people interact, so I don't see why it should be difference just because you're in the BB house.

agreed opinions are usually more valid when placed in context and nuanced. In this case however the real meaning of the word spineless was displayed by Chloe's shocking display tonight of complete and utter selfishness and indifference to brains suffering. sam on the other hand gave some fair opinions

Colbert-Bump 25-06-2015 02:23 AM

You could call Sam all the insults in the world and she would still smile at you.

I don't see why when something is happening between two housemates, especially a daft argument about something stupid, it suddenly becomes about why other people didn't say anything or get involved.

I don't see how Chloe is at all relevant to Helen and Brian's petty spat, nor why she'd be interested in involving herself in it.

No doubt if she had, we'd have the exact same people moaning about her sticking her nose in where it doesn't belong or being to faced etc etc. The usual nonsense.

alex_front2 25-06-2015 09:30 AM

LOL FOR me it's Chloe. Chloe wants to win and her tactic is to be as agreeable as she can, with a pinch of fence sitting, radar dodging, playing the whole" I'm just a normal girl from Darlington" "I'm dead normal, me" shtick. Except Chloe is not a girl, she's 26, she once falsely accused a taxi driver of kidnap. She really wants to win, nothing wrong with that - but she is projecting herself as the innocuous girl next door to win and I belief this is false, she reminds me of BB11 Alex Rose who played the ingenue when in fact she was a bully who once short changed a blind woman in a shop. The real Chloe did come out when Marc arrived "if you come at me, I'll come fot you, boy". Her fence sitting is a tactic.

Sam entered the house with no intention of winning BB, this BB experience is a pure career move to further tv and media job opportunities eg acting, being on Loose Women, comedy. It's all about acquisition of as much AT as possible. I also suspect grinning at all cost insipid #lovinglife Sam is 100% being herself. SAM doesn't fence sit, she simply doesn't really give a crap. The reason why she doesn't have a go at Marc is she needs him for AT, as long as she's linked to him she doesn't have to make any effort to do much. Being caller a c#mbucket is a small price to pay if it leads to a career on Tv. Sam sits on fence because she realky has few opinions

Glarh 25-06-2015 09:39 AM

Sam tbh. Just **** talks about some one then cleans their arsehole dry. Full on people pleaser. Bore off I say.

smudgie 25-06-2015 09:44 AM

Both as bad as each other.
Chloe playing the better game though. She had it all worked out before she went in, whereas Sam is just to transparent with her brown nosing.

abhorson 25-06-2015 09:44 AM

Should have both the same as an option. But Sam, just.

chuff me dizzy 25-06-2015 09:48 AM

Ive voted Chloe as she's been in the longest, and been sitting on the fence from night 1 ,Sam is equally as bad though

uniquedude 25-06-2015 09:55 AM

Sam didn't go along with what Marc was telling her regarding noms, so she's gone up in my books.

cfromhx02 25-06-2015 09:56 AM

I'd say Nick is probably the biggest fence sitter cause he changes what he says to different people, anything to avoid conflict and make him popular

with whoever he is speaking too,the guy's really chameleon like in how he changes what he says to match what he thinks they will want him to say and like him better if he says it.

Also Joel's a real kiss a*se too and used to make out he was a nice person who preferred nicer people till he two facedly has gone against those same people.

Sam is just thick and doesn't understand how abusive Marc has been to her.

Chloe isn't a complete sheep,and isn't totally silent

cos when she is pushed into it has really stood up to Marc

although she should have warned Marc that "I will back heel you in the nuts" if you don't stop gyrating your groin close to my bum.

Patricia4 25-06-2015 10:36 AM

Chloe

Vicky. 25-06-2015 10:37 AM

I thought Sam, until last night. It doesn't matter if the person in question has been nice to you, or even if they are your best ****ing friend, its still possible to condemn their actions if they are obviously out of line.

goldensunlight 25-06-2015 11:18 AM

Sam, since I didn't even hear her speak throughout the argument. At least Chloe said she wasn't willing to take sides.
