Retaliating when provoked is nowhere near as bad

as deliberately goading and baiting.

That's why it's wrong to compare Nikki's behaviour to Helen's. Everyone has the right to retaliate if deliberately goaded and provoked but if Helen did not goad or bait, none of this would ever have happened.

Helen is much worse than Nikki.

It's not as bad but it doesn't earn a free pass either. Helen was no angel tonight but yes she was provoked.

Helen doesn't need any provoking to be vile. Every word from her mouth is hateful speil and she then says 'I am a good person'. Telling it 'how it is' or being straight as she says she is at the expense of belittling, verbally bullying or hurting a housemate is the lowest of the low

That's simply not true. She has had caring conversations with many of the housemates. Just because you dislike her and repeat ad nauseum that she's incapable of saying a kind word doesn't make it so.
