Jack passionately wants to win the show

Big Brother's Jack McDermott has expressed his desire to win the series.

In highlights airing tonight (June 26), the housemate admits to feeling nervous about this week's eviction but intends to stay true to himself.

"I am very nervous for tomorrow night," Jack says. "I'm kind of looking forward to the rush of it.

"I'm having to mentally prepare myself that I'm going to walk out the door, but I really want to stay. I passionately want to win. I'm going to try and be me."

Earlier, Jack predicted that Simon Gross could leave for spending too much time in Helen Wood's company.

Nikki Grahame speculates that "hanging out with poison" will harm Simon's chances of staying in the house, to which Jack adds: "Could be guilty by association."

Simon is unhappy with these comments, talking back: "When I get out of here, I'll argue my case because that's ridiculous."

He later adds to Helen: "Why should someone tell me who I should start spending time with?"

Big Brother continues tonight on Channel 5 with a live eviction.

This was on the show last night

I don't get the issue though, it's understandable to want to win

Good for him for being open and honest. They all want to win, why would go into the show if you didn't wish you could win it?

If you are implying its a stick to further beat Jack with that just doesn't make sense.

Glad he stayed. Voted for Simon two times. Every little helped. Good to hear a few HM's say they want to win. Some just won't say it for being seen as being forward.

I'd want to win if I was on it, good on him for being honest

Ok if he wants to win but he sure as hell doesn't deserve it. If ever there was a let down of a housemate that showed so much promise on launch night Jack is the king of it. Lazy, spiteful, bitchy and miserable

They all want to win, at least he's been honest and not pulling the "journey" crap.

Cherie 27-06-2015 03:45 PM

He wants to win, what a revelation

You could from his face last night. He isn't very good with hiding his feelings. I can't wait for him to be evicted.

hijaxers 27-06-2015 03:47 PM

Shame he's a no hoper

They all want to win, anyone that says they don't is a liar. at least he's honest about it.

Love Jack

Don't much like Jack, but I like his honesty here. I hate when they all pretend to be there just for the experience and such

Hope he wins so he can buy that car back off Big Brother

BB4fan 27-06-2015 10:43 PM

Well, we know he wants to win.

He could eat all the McDonalds he wants.

Cherie 27-06-2015 10:47 PM

I do hope Jack gets the chance to walk away with a slice of the prize, he deserves it and the reaction on here would be

I believe they all want to win the show, some are better at verbalising it, some think it reduces heir chances to say they do. Why else are they in the house for goodness sake.
