Does Re-watching a C4 Series....

If you re-watched a C4 over the past 2 years does it make you feel quite annoyed and sad how much a mess BB has become? As a massive BB fan It made me feel quite annoyed.

- Davina's Opening lines
- Watching them do the shopping list
- Winners Week Episode
- When they all leave they show an empty house playing back some quotes
- Arriving in a Car
- 2 way evictions
- Eviction interviews away from the Crowd
- Strict Nomination reasons rule
- No information from the outside world

I miss all of this!

YES, not least for the shambles that have become the tasks and evictions

I just don't feel it's BB anymore, evictions, tasks and final doesn't seem the same. Especially the final

Channel 4 knew how to do shopping tasks right up until BB11, I still love the BB10 task where Sree and Sophie were ice cream vendors <3

I think Davina and the layout of the evictions/finals helped to make it more of an event

True!

Pete. 27-06-2015 06:34 PM

BB10, an underrated gem

Jason. 27-06-2015 06:35 PM

Absolutely!
100% with a cherry on top. And some whipped cream. And sprinkles.

armand.kay 27-06-2015 06:35 PM

Watching bb6 now and its depressing tbh.

Jason. 27-06-2015 06:38 PM

The tasks on Channel 5 are awful. Awful, awful, awful.
I think the only good one is Turf Wars. BB14 had some decent ones too.

Other than that, they're all the same and feature:

Being gunged or having a bucket of nasty liquid tipped over you
Eating/drinking something nasty
Guess which housemate said what about another housemate
Showing Diary Room conversations to the rest of the house
Outside contact
The public nominated who as the most (insert any negative quality)
Electric shock

Am I missing anything else?

Pete. 27-06-2015 06:40 PM

The Focus Group 'task' last year is probably the worst one they have done and they have done so many

I loved BB13's Don't Laugh task. :)

re:bb6

-The housemates are AMAZING!
-there is drama but also a lot of funny messy moments
-nomination every week and only two twists that effects noms.
-iconic head to head evictions
-big brother not showing the housemates everything (e.g. they let makosi decide whether or not she should share her secret mission and when the secret garden housemates entered they didn't show the hm everything that happened on a screen) and leaving them forever paranoid (one week orla was scared to go into the dr incase she was ejected as a twist)
-every episode is brilliant and no obvious manipulation from the producers.

Yeah. That one was good.
BB13 and BB14 had some decent ones, actually.

I think over the last year or so the tasks have dipped in quality. Not only for BB, but also CBB.

armand.kay 27-06-2015 06:43 PM

Yeah.
That's why BB6 is a fantastic series. It was filled with drama, all of which was natural.

And had some fantastic tasks and iconic moments.

how can I forget the tone of Marcus back then

and how BB sounded too

Yeah.
Even 5 years ago, Marcus was toned down.

Channel 5 have tampered with every aspect.

reece(: 27-06-2015 06:49 PM

It gives perspective as to how **** BBUK has become.

Jason. 27-06-2015 06:55 PM

Part me of asks why do I still watch it, given the last two series have been absolute tampered garbage.

LukeB 27-06-2015 06:58 PM

Yeah same here but it's something to watch for me :joker:

Liam- 27-06-2015 07:04 PM

It doesn't really annoy me, I'm a big fan, have been for years, but as long as it's still on and I'm still being entertained, I don't really care

BigSister 27-06-2015 07:41 PM

I don't really hate it I just become depressed how tampered it has got esp with tasks like the Judy james one last year and things like putting Helen through to the final and then not throwing her out for things a normal housemate would have been. Im fine with outside world info CH4 BB started doing that by the end i.e magazines in BB10 and Lisa and David going to London dressed as aliens. The tasks are mostly ok like someone said mostly same ones(If I see the electric shocking task again ill scream). The nominations im kinda used to hardly normal noms and if they are nominating in some way i.e BB taking 2 housemates off and replacing them with the ones they want up I`m happy. So yeah as much as ill miss CH4 BB I`m ok with Ch5 BB with some minor details
