Beckham signing for LA Galaxy!
 

He has announced he is leaving Real Madrid in the summer for LA Galaxy in August!
5 year deal, one of the biggest in sport, he will earn around £128 million over the duration of the contract.... $1million a WEEK!

this will be good for football in america

I think he will become a big name over there, & the Americans want to raise awareness around 'soccer' so I guess thats why he got such a massive deal. 5 years is a lot when he is coming to the end, so its a great move for him.
Obvious he would go there, guess I'll move to LA! :wink:

Beckham's career seems to be winding down now and with this move he's hardly likely to ever get back in the England squad so now he's taking the chance to further boost his profile in America rather than win major trophies.
