Adam Faith dies of heart attack
LONDON (Reuters) - Pop star and actor Adam Faith has died of a heart attack at the age of 62. "He passed away at 2:30 this morning having had a massive heart attack," his agent, Alan Field, told Reuters on Saturday. He was taken ill in Stoke-on-Trent where he had been appearing in the play "Love and Marriage" at the local theatre. He was taken ill at his hotel but died in hospital "despite valiant efforts from the staff," Field said. "He had a history of heart complaints for many years and had a by-pass 16 years ago," he added.

I was so sorry to read this.
I was a huge fan of his in the sixties.
I really liked him in Stardust with David Essex.
I hope he didn't suffer.

I too am sorry to hear this news. 62 is too young to die.(my Dad was 62 when he died and my Mum 64)
I have enjoyed everthing that i have seen Adam Faith in over the years particularly 'Love Hurts' with Zoe Wannamaker.

He will be missed by many.

Aaaahhhh! so sad. I hate to hear of stars from the 1960s dying, we've lost so many now. I too had great affection for Adam Faith and am so sorry to hear of his death.

I was also a fan of his in the 60's and still have quite a few of his records from that period.

Like Boris, I also enjoyed his performance in "Love Hurts". It was a huge hit in the 90s and I always hoped there would a fourth series but, sadly, it wasn't to be.

Terribly sad news, I was a big fan of Adam Faith, having been brought up listening to his music.

I loved him in Stardust with David Essex (My idol), he was a great actor and a great singer.

He will be missed, such a young age to die.

I was never a huge Adam Faith fan (preferred Cliff to be hones), but did admire how he extended his career by going into acting. His TV series Budgie was absolutely brilliant.
