How was the Deana/Conor situation received on TiBB?
 

I wasn't around on the forums for Big Brother 13. Personally, I thought the treatment that Deana got was awful, from both Conor, Arron, Luke S, Ashleigh, Scott, Caroline and the producers.

Were people against Conor or supporting Conor? Who was the TiBB favourite to win?

Overwhelmingly against Conor

Deana is still rightfully adored, Conor loathed

I'm glad to hear it. I've been looking back at the BB13 forum, and it's intriguing to see that the same people who like Conor, also like Helen and Marc. :flutter:

I like Marc, but detested Helen and Conor (and personally don't think Marc is at all the same type of person, but I suppose it's all subjective).

But yeah, from the times I was on I remember Deana had a lot of support on here.

I was on DS and Deana was loved and people hated Conor, which is good because Deana is a top five housemate and Conor is a bottom five

Deana is amazing and Conor sucks so I'm glad support was in her favour

I wasn't on TiBB at the time. But I know DS were fully Team Deana, rightly so too.

What surprised me most at the time was actual voters. Conor managed to survive many evictions in a VTS, and beat people who were less horrid than he was.

How he got 80% to SAVE, against Shievonne remains one of BB's Biggest Mysteries, IMO.

I wasn't on any forums at that time, but for the record, I love both and Helen and Marc, but Conor was disgusting so.

I think all three share a similar "alpha" personality so that's why I'm intrigued. Everyone who I like are totally different to each other; I don't really have a "type" of housemate. I like both Nikki and Helen and those two are incomparable!

It shocked me too, especially since Ireland were unable to vote back then. I thought that was where all his votes would have come from but obviously not.

Conner was an absolute legend. Loved the guy.

I assumed it was down to a combination of Conor's teenybopper fanbase who are willing to let anything slide if they fancy someone enough, and Shievonne getting increasingly argumentative and moody (which we know aren't traits often forgiven by voters in female housemates).

Such a horrid result, though. I like to think Conor would have left the week before had it been a vote to evict.

I'm more surprised that Conor's share of the vote was so high in the first week (60-odd percent) when he was barely in the early highlights compared to Lydia and Victoria, who had entire shows devoted to them. Sure, Conor was probably the only one of the three who wasn't seemingly in self-destruct mode, but still...
