New ofcom tv voting rules come into procedure tomorrow..
 
..This could be the reason why they've held off opening the lines :fc:

Telecoms regulator Ofcom said the new system allows viewers to work out the exact cost of the call rather than face bill shock weeks later.

How is it the production companies responsibility of the caller can't work out that they're going to have a hefty phone bill for consistent voting?

I still think on anywhere you pay to vote ,all voting figures should be visible for all to see

Why didn't they just open the vote the other day still? It could have just abided by the new rules before they were put into place.

I'm willing to keep the Conors/Helens/Marcs if it meant people like Deana/Toya/Twins/Sarah/Eileen etc all stay longer
