So why is Jack actually up for eviction?

Some people seem to think the producers are gunning for Marc (their obvious favourite), yet the one person who could beat Marc in an unpopularity contest is Jack who only received 2 nominations. So Marc has been immune from eviction for 4 weeks and then when he is finally up, they make sure to put Jack up despite earlier on in the series Jade and Joel received 3 nominations and didn't face the public vote.

Another example of producer manipulation to try to keep Marc in the house? Looks like it to me.

You are on shaky ground trying to claim that producer manipulation is favouring Marc when Violent thugs Danny and Aisleyne haven't been ejected by those same producers, despite targetting mark with threats and violence.

I have honestly no idea

Withano 02-07-2015 12:03 AM

How many noms did everybody get, do you remember. I'm very ready to agree with you if jack had less than the other three.

Yes Jack had less. I think he only had 2, and the others had 6 or 4.

But nobody is denying the producers make this up as they go along. They want a big head to head essentially with Jack and Marc and want a team smug member up with the 4in4out housemates. It will also bring them lots of voting revenue.

He's been immune for 4 evictions in a row and the one person who could beat him in an eviction vote has been put despite only receiving 2 noms when people in the past who had 3 didn't face the public vote.

As for Danny/Aisleyne. I don't like either of them. But it's perfectly clear Marc goads them and prods away at them, as he has done everyone in the house since he entered. Let's not pretend he's an innocent little victim.

And as far I can tell Danny and Aisleyne seem to be reinforcing his popularity. So it all seems to be working in his favour doesn't it?

according to the wiki.

Marc 6
Sam 6
Harry 4
Jack 2

It is an utter nonsense that Jack is up.

Alternatively... They wanted the one person who they knew had a good chance of going over Marc up. Sam and Harry don;t inspire much negative feeling, but Jack does. So it's more likely he was put up to save Marc, just as Jackie Travers was put up to save the others when she went, despite only having 2 noms whilst the others all had more.

It makes sense once you realize it was the best chance to save Marc. The guy the producers are biased against apparently.

It does, to be fair.

I can't argue that the producers do what they want and seem to favour who they want. I am with you on this. I want a return to proper BB with harsh nomination rules and no outside contact.

But the feeling I get with you is that you are only complaining because it is marc being favoured. If they made team danny immune would you be complaining,

Thanks bobnot. That is absolutely disgraceful! Makes no sense whatsoever. But I agree with Thriceshy. I think they want a head to head. They are gonna freeze the lines and reopen it between Marc and Jack and cash in thousands within minutes.

And to beetlejuice, I agree it is an absolute joke, clearly an attempt for a Marc win. He'd be out with 70% had Jack not have been up.

ThriceShy 02-07-2015 12:26 AM

But if you lads are so sure of Marc being so nasty and hated then you should believe he will beat anyone.

And how could it be fair for the close-knit gang of original housemates to pick of the newbies. That is what would happen if BB kept to the original nom rules.

The original HM's pick on newbies & form a clique. I would perfer if BB discourage such behaviour as it usually means tatically nominating on not much else other then who was there longest.

its very simple
all the people with the 3 highest numbers of votes are all up for eviction

in this case everybody that has 6 , 4, or 2 votes is up for eviction

I think the point is that they've never(?) used 'the 4 or more people with the most votes' rationale before.. 2, yes.. 3, yes.. Everybody with 1 vote or more, yes. I don't remember this rationale being used before, seems very convenient, don't you agree?

reece(: 02-07-2015 12:56 AM

Jack is up so the producers can be protect Marq

It is convenient. BB want a big head to head with Jack and Marc. What is wrong with that?

And if you are so confident that marc is so nasty and will go then you should relish him going over jack, shouldn't you?

Honestly, I have struggled to find one housemate to like this year. I find Danny a bore, with a bit of decency to him. Joel is impressive but not especially likeable. Nick has disappeared but I do still quite like him. Sam is a drip. Harry is a moody cow. Cristian is just cringeworthy. I've actually started to warm to Jack the most, just for his honesty about wanting to stay and trying to turn everything around for himself. And I forgot about Chloe.

Once again you completely miss the point  Messing with the nomination process to produce the result that the producers want is out of order whoever is up.

Ahaha, this user really is the definition of missing the point. Most of the time, I feel like it might be a parody account, but their relentlessness makes me lose hope.

(sorry for the choice of pronouns thriceshy, haven't learnt your gender yet)

That's a new rule that has never been explained before.

Why not the 3 or more with the most noms... Marc, Sam and Harry?

Why not the 2 or more with the mosts noms like the old days... Marc and Sam?

The fact is they pull this "Anyone with 2 noms is up" rule out of their arses to get certain people out over others. In this case, to get Jack out over Marc.

Diddums.

The gang of bullying bores, who will never nominate each other, haven't been allowed to block vote the newbies out.
