Would producers cave in and replenish the £150k? I'd be irked if I came in to win a prize fund, the much heralded biggest prize fund ever* and then see the amount decimated to just under £50k, c. a third.

If the hms had greater unity and had been entertaining throughout the series, they should have done a real proper rebellion and threaten to walkout until the prize fund is £150k... Or more, take the pi$$a bit. Unfortunately the producers can't wait till this series is over and would merely call their bluff.
