Why were the producers so desperate to snap up Lee Ryan?
 

He was asked for five consecutive series' until he finally gave in to the producers. What was so special about him that the producers kept on trying to snap him up?!

He turned out to be one of the most bizarrely unexpected villains ever. Was totally worth it.

He was an amazing CBB villain and carried CBB13

I'm not quite sure what they expected from him initially. On paper I would have him down as just a filler 'celeb' that doesn't contribute anything to the series.

It paid off anyway given how he became the main villain of CBB13 and formed a big part of that series.
