How did Danny not get thrown out?

ok, so we saw someone get thrown out for cavorting naked, which most took as funny.

But Danny how shown several bouts of aggressive and violent behaviour, has been warned yet somehow is still in the show.
When he got in Mark's face, moved his head aggressively and then threw food at Mark twice i was convinced he would get thrown out.

People have been thrown out for less than he has done a few times.

How is he still in the house?

Personally, i worry about his true behaviour, he is clearly holding back in the house and i suspect he probably get angry, aggressive and violent often.
Its sad that i wouldnt be surprised to read about him in 6 months time having got physically violent with someone.

BigBuk 05-07-2015 09:55 PM

Because Danny acts as if he's a nice guy even though he's gotten in people's faces, punched objects in the house and thrown things on two occasions at a HM but he acts like he's a nice guy so he's a saint to the BB producers.

Whilst someone like Helen and Marc who haven't been physically aggressive got grilled in their interview, the same will not happen to Danny as he gives morons the illusion he's a nice guy, thankfully there seems to be a lot of people aware of his antics.

i was very concerned as he seems so OTT and unstoppable - but fact he has done nothing wrong yet so we can only go on that. now with marc out lets see if he settles.

He's received a warning (pizza) and a formal warning (sandwich), the next time he does it will be an ejection. Production are a pile of wank, but I don't think they are trying to save him, they're just going by a 'three strike" rule.

Charley uchea shouted into somebody's face in pretty much every episode. I don't know why people bring that up as if it's grounds for a warning, it really isn't.. Saying "you're this close to a slap" is his only offence. Throwing sandwiches, pizza boxes and getting a little shouty is just a little bit silly.

The two arent comparable. For a start Charly was a joke in and out of the house, she was not intimidating in any way and she often did this to Brian who could easily defend himself against her, shes hardly Xena warrior princess.

Danny on the other hand is a biggish guy and the way he lost his temper was different, rightly or wrongly thats for another thread he desperately wanted to hit Marc on more than 1 occasions it was clear as day and in the real world he would have. Anyone whos been around proper agro people know he was VERY close to physically losing it a few times, he even admitted as much himself.

The two are super comparable, difference is one housemate done this on the daily and other has done it twice maybe three times. Getting shouty isn't a big deal, getting shouty in somebody's face isn't much worse, unless a phrase like "you're this close to a slap" is being used.. Hence the warning.. (This isn't really my opinion by the way, I just thought I'd give the op an actual answer to the question before the anti-Danny clan make out that he's basically a murderer, your theories on Danny nearly losing it completely are only theories and not ground for ejection.. Obviously.. You know that right?)

But yeh, I agree with one of your points you made, if anybody actually felt threatened it would be a different story.. I don't think Marc ever did, can't really remember individual cases with Charley

Vicky. 05-07-2015 10:37 PM

Because people took it well

Had Marc pissed himself and ran crying to the DR, they would have had no choice but to chuck him

Well I dont know it anymore than any of us know anything that motivates other people 100%, but considering on at least 2 seperate occasions he physically attacked nearby objects and told other people afterwards he wanted to punch marc yeah im reasonably confident he was as close as you can get to losing it without actually losing it.

But basically Marc didnt bitch about it so yeah that I agree with. Where as if he had maybe Danny would be have been dealt with more strictly.

On a scale of one to ten, how similar are people and sandwiches to you.. Maybe that's why we're disagreeing here? I personally think there's a huge difference between throwing a 10g sandwich and punching somebody in the face. Hmm.

Your being deliberately obtuse. If said sandwich throwing is preceeded by a large man looming over you and threatening you then being physically pulled away by 3 people then yeah its a bit different to someone just randomly chucking a sandwich.

They are totally comparable.

Charly being a loud mouthed skank is not comparable to Danny threatening to hit someone.

Charly was loud and shouty but never threatened physical violence she was a joke. The clown outfit argument being a perfect example.

He was warned for that entire night anyway and I think we can both agree he deserved a warning, not an ejection... I just don't believe that he's ever really showed any other behaviour during his stay that warranted another warning and obviously neither has bb. Getting shouty in somebody's face is something that happens every other series without a raised eyebrow and throwing pizza boxes was just childish.. Neither are big deals really, definitely not deserving of a warning.

Jase. 05-07-2015 10:59 PM

So there was..

-Getting in Marc's face when Marc first arrived
-The pizza box mess
-The sandwich throwing incident
-Getting in Marc's face once again during the Hotel task
-Throwing water in Marc's face

...and apparently all is fine. The producers of this show need to sort themselves the **** out.

he was warned for that.. I don't think you understand what point you're trying to make?

They are all fine. His only offence was saying things like "you're this close to getting a slap" on the sandwich night and he was warned for that..

Throwing a sandwich would have been the most ridiculous warning ever lol. It weighed like 10grams. And getting a little bit shouty isn't really a big deal either, it's something I've seen happen 100 times over on bb.

Both are aggressive in your face. With no violence. I am not liking Danny now but are you talking about threatening to throw pasta in Marc's face. Hardly a threat of violence.. Both got warned. Comparable. Otherwise, BB would have ejected him.

ThriceShy 05-07-2015 11:13 PM

Danny threatened to slap someone, and then threw things at them.

No different to Dennis and Alexandra in my book.

Very confused how you even managed to compare Denis' incident to Alexandra's

It doesn't matter what was thrown, makes no difference. It's violent behaviour, you don't throw something at another person if you're calm, he was aggressive. Am I saying he should have been kicked out for throwing a sandwich? No, but if you're adding up all the aggressive things he's done I believe he has been lucky not to have been kicked out considering HMs before have been kicked out for a lot less, Aaron from this series is a good example.

If I had it my way HMs wouldn't be thrown out unless it was something major like clear physical assault but for me BB just make it up as they go a long, no consistency whatsoever.

Oh yeah right. Throwing a brick and throwing a feather is the same thing.

He was warned for the night and that is what he deserved. He hasn't done enough to turn that warning into an ejection is the answer to the op.

The fact he was that wound up to throw anything is violent behaviour. As you said he was warned and rightly so but he obviously didn't learn his lesson. He's showed more than one sign of clear aggression in the house.

Like I said previously I personally don't think he's done enough to be kicked out but I don't think Aaron did either. The fact BB kick people out who have done less than Danny shows they have no consistency.

I don't like or hate Danny although this is hardly the first time in history a housemate has thrown something at another housemate, been threatening or even shown signs of aggression and been kept in the house... this has happened many times over the years and in the C4 days.

Vicky is spot on anyway. When it came to Danny and Marc, Marc hardly looked upset or distraught, if he did then yeah Danny would be out the door by now.
