Why is Jack still fat?

This is serious, has Jack lost weight since he came in? I'm worried.

I think a few of them have put a bit of beef on, must be all that rice and chick peas, lack of exercise won't help.

If 21 years isn't enough for him to be thin, I doubt 9 weeks will make a difference.

Vicky. 08-07-2015 11:04 PM

Carb heavy diets will do that to people

Food and exercise affects us all in different ways. Im a 6 foot, 24 year old male and all i eat is kebabs and literally never exercise and I'm somewhere between 10 and 11 stone and have been all of my adult life. Jack not losing weight doesn't concern or shock me, sometimes food or a lack of it just doesn't have the impact that people assume it does.

Clearly you've never been overweight if you have to ask this question. It's not that easy (for most people) to lose weight. And he does seem slightly slimmer than when he entered.

..(kind of on topic..)..I remember back in the day when they had basic budgets and the 'rich/poor' house and they only got the basics for making bread themselves...poor Kate Lawler.....she was in the poor house week after week...we used to see the smokers crumble when they didn't have cigarettes because they couldn't get them with the food budget and would beg BB for tobacco... and also alcohol, they would offer up their first born child or a parent for a bottle of wine or can of lager....they always seem to have these things now, I don't think that basic budgets are the same when they moan about them...but yeah, a few housemates did seem to lose weight when they were in there, even with the lack of exercise/activity...but now not so much, those spoilt little brats....

...back in the day BB though, bring back the begging housemates.....

Isn't Jack 23?

Northern Monkey 09-07-2015 03:13 AM

Takes a while to drop body fat.You need to be in a consistent calorie deficit.I reckon Jack's been up and down with his calories.Along with lazing around in that house. It's not a good enviroment for weight loss.

goldensunlight 09-07-2015 04:13 AM

You'd think that they'd exercise more than they do in there, especially when they get bored or sit around people watching.

Brother Leon 09-07-2015 04:22 AM

It takes ages and I mean ages to lose or gain weight regardless of how you eat for a period of time. It's no quick thing. It took me so damn long to finally start gaining abit of weight.
