The Betting Markets

Its probably a bit late in the day but this forum is almost to good RE activity and often several threads are running on a similar subject.

I find interest in odds checker and the betting aspects and I wonder if one thread might best serve for those who like to post on same.

Tomorrows eviction betting is fascinating with just a couple of days ago Harrys price going odds on overnight. Some members speculated that a coup was taking place and this might be so but if correct those involved will now be needing to spend plenty more on votes as Chloe is now jt 11/8 fav to go with some bookmakers.

I mugged off myself by taking 6/1 Sam who is now 9/1 but appear to have redressed the balance by having 10/1 Jack to win as several now go 7/2 and he is 2nd fav to beat Danny. What can you say at least it don't get boring.!

Beso 09-07-2015 02:58 PM

love how all the evictees odds are legnthening while chloes is shortening at a rapid rate...justice will be served this weekend.

Mick 10-07-2015 06:39 AM

Over night Jack continues to shorten in the winner market.Currently on betfair Danny is 2.75 and Jack is 3.0

When you consider that Jack has tonights eviction to survive this is significant and by this time tomorrow I can see him outing danny and becoming clear fav.

His BB journey via the betting market has truly been remarkable at one point being the 1-1 fav yet 10 days ago out to 40/1 no hoper.

Certainly a case of never say die or should it be Pie.?

I have a feeling this may mean they will offer Jack the car again to walk and he knows he has been unpopular and would probably take it. I wouldn't blame him at all but it would be disappointing as the comeback storyline is rather exciting and I'd love to see if he can pull it off.

Yes this is my concern and although it would kill my wager I would not blame him.The hope I have is that the producers now like the idea of Jack as the winner so will find a way of swerving this temptation.

I will be annoyed now if jack is offered the car again when he could win this.

Danbarton160 10-07-2015 07:59 AM

as somebody who put £15 on jack at 40/1 I would be very annoyed if they offered him the car!

they wont do that though, as there is always 6 in the final and 1 mid week kick out.

Jack is a proper nice guy and i make him favorite should he not be shock evicted

Well done your 40/1 that's looking sweet now.I have him EW at 10/1 which is good enough but increasingly regardless of the money I would gain I want to see him the winner because as you say he is a proper nice guy on balance and for all the game playing and back biting we have seen from some of the others its good when one of the good guys win.

Danbarton160 10-07-2015 08:14 AM

Thank you, although i must confess at the same time i also went with Chloe for £20..... 2 weeks ago i thought she was brilliant.

one thing on jack, if he is cheered tonight will it change him to a cocky pie face and thus losing the fanbase he is quickly gathering?

I so hope he is cheered it will do him the world of good and to answer your question I think no.

When he knew he was popular at the start he received a lot of stick for being cocky yet I never really got this.We Brits like to build someone up only to knock them down and I think many saw negatives which where not there.

He is a young bloke very naïve in some respects and when he became upset and questioned those who nominated him he did himself no favours yet others felt likewise when they received same but played the game and said little or nothing. He was open and honest in his distress and in comparison to some who remain I think this is now starting to work in his favour with the public.

I agree with everything you said.

She's not a hypocrite, she accepted an offer, she did not steal money out of the prize fund. I won't explain this again. :joker:

try and spin it however you like, the facts have been there for all to see this week, and if there is justice, chloe will get her marching orders tonight

Mick 10-07-2015 02:16 PM

Ladbrokes have cut Jack to 5/2 a shorter price than some offer against Danny.A remarkable turn round by The Pie Man.

Robodog 10-07-2015 02:27 PM

This is the first BB final when the bookies odds are more interesting than the final HMs.

She will get her justice when she makes the final and pulls out a shock win

When you look at the bookmakers advertising on odds checker then 365 are prob the best of a sorry bunch. They are more inclined to take a decent bet and less affected by what's happening on the exchange.

There take this morning is interesting as they have knocked danny out to 5/1.Chloe is there new fav at 9/4 with Jack and Joel jt 2nd fav at 3/1.

As always there's still plenty of time for things to happen in the house which can change this position and I still hold good expectations that Jack will win.

I just don't get how Chloe can be fav or win.It looks like Joel got the best of it via his "moral" stance on the killer nom but this is not my view although I will give him credit for having over Danny because imo that's what happened the player got played.

Mick 13-07-2015 05:29 AM

After Jack took the money I thought my bet on him to win was dead but still felt OK about it as imo he deserved it.

The market reaction was to knock him out to 6/1 but over night the position has improved as he is back to 3/1 jt 2nd fav on betfair. I found this a pleasant surprise Danny appears exposed rumbled and well out of favour and I keep asking what have Chloe and Joel really contributed which makes either the winner.

So the Pie Man might yet pull off what amounts to a triple whammy stranger things do happen.

I think he took the money because he had accepted that he had no chance of winning based on the crowd reaction and what he was told by the legends and hotel guests so now he is relaxed ,imagine the reaction meltdown if he wins and gets the lot this I would like to see.

Mick 14-07-2015 06:35 AM

The Pie Man had a good edit and is now 15/8 fav with WH and on BF.A remarkable situation because he will have received some negative response for taking the money.

He can now win probably for the very best reason which is that he does not expect to win.
