Another twist tonight? Does this show need new producers?

The amount of desperate stunts there has been this year is just beyond laughable at this point. Time for a new production team imo

sampvt 10-07-2015 10:20 AM

They need twists because they let the show get away from them on the 4 in 4 out week. They then had an uphill journey which they have totally killed off any other future shows. This is the worst BB ever from the idiots they put in to the inane visits by idiots like ashlene and Big Mac. Also the outsider influence has been too much as well, that's killed it off.

Mick 10-07-2015 10:30 AM

I feel the 4 in 4 out was a big mistake some of those who went could have progressed into interesting HMs.I know one has to go every week but now we do not get the chance to follow any progress.

I think they over thought things and it back fired. In future shows I will feel less inclined to take an interest in individual HMs early doors now expecting the same thing to happen.?

Vanessa 10-07-2015 10:31 AM

I can't really complain, because the 4 in 4 out twist helped Cristian to stay.

Ashley. 10-07-2015 10:32 AM

4 in 4 out was where it went wrong, because it got rid of four interesting housemates. Kieran obviously had a game plan, which I would've liked to have seen progress, and Harriet, Amy & Sally and Sarah caused the most arguments.

I don't see how the show benefited from this twist to be honest. Can you imagine Amy & Sally or Harriet vs. Marc? Would've been golden.

Shame.

Yes these are also my thoughts. The ideal out come to my mind would have been Kieran gone replaced by Marc.

We shall never know but I would question what entertainment has been offered by Sam Simon or Harry. Not a lot imo.

If we didn't have "4 in 4 out", Marc would have likely never entered as it would've resulted in four extra people in the house...

REDCROP 10-07-2015 10:44 AM

This years remaining housemates are the reason....who ever recruited them must be as dumb as the audience on last nights BOTS

And talking about Dumb....how stupid must housemates like Danny and Chloe be to still have their arrogance at this stage of the game ?...If i had entered the BB house and then watched BB desperately try to inject some personality into it as they sent in Legend Housemates, and New housemates and Marc and overnight celebrity guests and Pete Bennet and singing choirs and ice cream wagons i would be bricking myself at what is waiting for me on the outside let alone be totally mortified at how rubbish i must have been in there....
They have been RUBBISH house mates....why do they think Marc was sent in ? ..He was more of a task and a challenge for them than he was another housemate....if Danny or Chloe were intelligent enough to be able to reflect themselves they would have realised that and joined forces with him instead of against him, like Joel and Nick did because they've got a brain.....and not one of them has worked out how he cud be voted out yet get the only cheers so far this year....its because they each only have about 12 followers and he had thousands for him but also thousands against him....
The arrogance and limited intelligence of Danny and Chloe is amazing....no surprise it became a friendship and also no surprise its now turned to betrayal

It could've still worked, though, even without the twist.

At the point Aaron left, there were twelve housemates remaining. If Marc and Harry entered as replacements after the eviction, there would be thirteen housemates remaining. If the final was still on Week 11 and there was one eviction every week with a double eviction near the end, there would be five in the final.

Production just need to think ahead like that.

What's the point if you can't get to know any of them anyway?

zakman440 10-07-2015 12:26 PM

Of course it does. The show needs a serious overhaul for next year.

jennyjuniper 10-07-2015 12:32 PM

It's been needing new production for the past few years.

GLENN BILL BB7 10-07-2015 12:46 PM

Why would you tell us there will be a twist tonight but don't tell us what it is!?

sampvt 10-07-2015 12:49 PM

The really annoying bit with them is the way the think that keeping us dangling will bring in the figures for them, it only pisses me off even more and its doing the show no good at all. Isnt this years head of show in their mid twenties. Seems strange to me that they would give such a young person all that responsibility.

Let's just boycott the show tbh

This series needed new producers following the travesty last year but amazingly they did worse this year

Doesn't this series have different producers compared to last year?
Wasn't that Denis O'Connor guy in charge this year?

What an awful job he did.

I thought every series has different production teams. Though, I'm not sure  I think you can tell by looking at the closing titles for each series, as they're usually listed there.

I wonder if the producers of BB13/BB14 are the same producers for BB15/16. If so, then that's really worrying.

A lot of the producers are freelance I'd imagine, but Denis O Connor worked on BB11 and BB13 onwards I think- he was promoted this year

He worked on BB13. But 3 years later produced BB16.

Beetlejuice 10-07-2015 02:53 PM

People saying they need to do this because of the housemates... They did the same thing last year. They just can't stop themselves.
