Joel & Nick's popularity?
Are people only supporting them because they're posh contestants? I'm not meaning to be rude it's just that if someone like Cristian had've behaved like how those two have behaved in this series that he would be long gone by now, and he certainly wouldn't be in the top 3 of our who do you want to win poll like these two are.
My reasons for disliking the pair of twats. Joel: 1. He got his best friend thrown out. 2. He tries to wind other people up to get them thrown out, and he doesn't have the charisma of Perez to pull it off. 3. He can be selfish but nobody else can be. 4. He has a really monotone voice. 5. 90% Of the time he looks miserable in there. Nick: 1. He uses girls, makes out that his friends with them, and then makes them look bad. 2. He has not done one entertaining thing since his been in the house. 3. The constant nose picking. 4. The constant hair touching. 5. Again the monotone voice. 6. Does he ever smile? He always looks miserable. |
well, you gotta admit that out of those 6 in there
atleast those 2 are quite alright than the other 4 |
Perez had charisma?

While I've sort of gone off Nick because he's done nothing, I couldn't care less if they're posh or not.. actually, that would normally make me like people less.
Joel: 1. He got his best friend thrown out. No he didn't. 2. He tries to wind other people up to get them thrown out, and he doesn't have the charisma of Perez to pull it off. I've never seen him do this. I think he winds people up for his own amusement, not to get them thrown out. 3. He can be selfish but nobody else can be. Everyone feels that way, but I think Joel is the least selfish in the house. 4. He has a really monotone voice. Eh, so? My voice is pretty monotone too, it only raises when I get excited about something (much like his) 5. 90% Of the time he looks miserable in there. I would be too, surrounded by the rest of the miserable, boring housemates. I like Joel because I think he's funny and interesting. He seems to just do his own thing - though he also seems to be a bit naive and easily led at times). He's the only one with anything going on in his head - not just in general, but in terms of 'the game'; he doesn't let the stress of Big Brother get to him. Although lots of people like to call him the '19 year old that's actually 40', I like that he actually isn't and has various sides to his personality and seems genuinely interested in doing different things. |
I hate Joel because he is an arrogant, selfish twat. He spent £2,500 on a pizza and gave up on (as far as he knew) up to £18,000 to eat pizza - and his defense is that he doesn't care because he doesn't need the money because he still lives at home.
So he doesn't plan on leaving home anytime soon, either to study or just begin his adult life - meanwhile he goes on about how much he cares about his fellow housemates. Therefore he is convinced he is going to win so reducing the prize money doesn't matter because he doesn't need it and it's not going to go to any of the others. To paraphrase Marc: I'd rather give my dad a blowjob than see Joel win. |
These are 2 of the worst housemates ever.. in what other series would these characters had any popularity inside or outside the house?
Nervy, snidey creepy boys. |
I hate everything about Nick. Watching him try to be a "lad" is so cringe and he picks his nose and eats it.

Nick or Joel to win.:smug:

I like Joel because firstly, I don't get the dislike for him and even moreso just because of his politics.
Even if he is posh, that is not a reason to dislike people,I find him humerous actually and even moreso when he starts singing and dancing. Attitude wise, he is also very much how I was at 19,so I see a lot of myself in him too which draws me to him that bit more as well. Nick, was a housemate I really liked early on but went off because of the showmance in truth. Again however, I can see how people like him. I find him far less funny to watch than Joel however. It is down to what people look for, I myself see good things as to Joel and a few as to Nick too. Of the 2, Joel is far and away my favourite this series, while Nick is much less so. I really hate showmances in any series so it is no surprise to me that Nick lost a lot of my liking for being part of one. Both Joel ad Nick for me,from my perspective of the housemates, are far and away both better housemates than Danny for instance and I would add Chloe to Danny too now. |
And DS making out like these two are the two most moral left in the house.:umm2:

I must admit I am astounded that Nick is still getting any support. His BB experience has consisted of worming his way around the girls of the house, ruffling his hair and picking his nose and canoodling with Harry. Then to top it off he buys his place into the final.

I go back and forth on Joel. He was an early fav of mine, then I went off him, then I liked him again, then I went off him...I don't usually do that :conf:
I could take him winning. Nick I couldn't. |
Beyond the forums they have no support
|
In my view Nick is the only one who has remained grounded, not ever acted like he was better than anyone or changed throughout because of any certain situation, which leads to my original thoughts of how he's the most genuine. I believe that winning to him would be a big deal, he's a major fan of the show and I think he deserves it. He's made me laugh on numerous occasions and he's dealt with Harry with patience and grace.
Joel is my second choice to win. |
Nick has done well because he came in with the posh privileged waster tag which would have worked against him.Although I recall he said he had been at the apprentice jockey school for two years before deciding to leave so he can implement some discipline when needed. In truth it was the attention from Jade and more so Harry which created the only interest and tbh I lost mine when he bought his place in the final.I think this cost him any chance he may have had of being the winner.
Joel I have blown hot and cold with throughout the show.At first I thought interesting HM old head on young shoulders but increasingly I have viewed him and Danny as the biggest game players in there. He is very calculating there is never any spontaneous behaviour and for myself this does not suit.He is back in favour via his "Moral" stance last night but regardless of your thoughts on this I feel to little to late to make him the winner. |
