Stuart & Deans Teabag Bin

Just seen stuart & Deans tea bag bin on Richard & Judy.A bit of attention for them at last, also both Richard & judy said what a good idea.
Now if Richard & Judy said it was good everyone should want one:laugh::laugh:
They showed a really nice pic of Stuart & Dean aswell.
I do hope it does well for them:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

LEE 13-03-2003 05:03 PM

That's brilliant Rachb, I really hope that this succeeds for them as well.

Kaz 13-03-2003 09:25 PM

Missed it! :bawling: Thanks for letting us know, rachb.

Great to see Dean and Stuart getting more publicity for their Tea Bag Bin. It's an excellent idea, and I hope they do really well with it.

Any one got a tea bag bin yet?

chilledbootz 14-03-2003 06:33 AM

I think it's a really pathetic idea. You only have to empty the thing in the bin eventually anyway. It was in the BB house and nobody used it!!!

Janette 14-03-2003 11:44 AM

I think it's a great idea, and i'm ordering one right now!

chilledbootz - nobody used it in the house cos they didnt know what it was for - nobody told them :nono::nono:

I'm hoping to go to the Ideal Homes Exhibition shortly - wonder if they will be exhibiting????

This gadget could be a success. You never know. The people who invented the Tetrapack milk carton made billions of smackeroos.

Sticks 15-03-2003 05:59 PM

Mine is now on order too :xyxwave:

BusyBee 15-03-2003 07:10 PM

I BOUGHT ONE TODAY (well actually two - one for home and one for work - might encourage people to be a little less messy)

I've christened it too.. Little tip I've lined mine with a plastic sandwich bag - when its full you just lift the bag out and replace and it doesnt mess the actual bin.

Hint of genius there I think:spin::spin::spin::spin:

Janette 15-03-2003 07:30 PM

Great idea busybee, I'll do that when I get my teabagbin!

:hello:

Teabagbin

Hi All

Dean and I have just been reading your posts, thank you for your comments.

Richard and Judy on Thursday has really helped and Judy has now got one for her kitchen.

We do have a stand at the ideal home Exhibition stand 553F and we were there last week. We are also planning a number of days at the stand so if you go speak to Neil who is running our diaries.

Check out http://www.teabagbin.com we have re-launched the site and it would be great to get your feedback.

See ya

Stuart x

PS - great idea re the plastic bag

Romantic Old Bird 16-03-2003 10:05 AM

Morning lads!:hello::thumbs::hello:

Nice to see you.

Kaz 16-03-2003 10:14 AM

Hi, Stuart. :wavey: Hi, Dean. :wavey:

Thanks for popping in to visit us again.

Best of luck at the Ideal Homes Exhibition - hope the teabag bins go down a storm.

BusyBee 16-03-2003 04:20 PM

Hi Stuart, Hi Dean thanks for popping in.

You always knew you were sure of a few sales = just mention it to us lot and we'll be there.

Glad you like the plastic bag idea - I do have useful ideas now and again.

Best of luck

LEE 16-03-2003 04:51 PM

Hi Dean and Stuart :wavey:

Nice to see you again.

I'm really glad that your idea is starting to take off and I was pleased to see that the Tea Bag Bin is the number one best seller at Sharper Edge at the mo

I've ordered mine

I've had a look at the new site as well and it's looking good.

LEE 18-03-2003 08:31 AM

My Tea Bag Bin arrived this morning, and it is now sitting proudly in my kitchen, complete with small plastic bag inside (thanks Val).

Just off to make my first cup of tea of the day to christen it.

Romantic Old Bird 18-03-2003 08:39 AM

That was quick Lee (unlike some things in life....)

Tell me, when you have christened it, please let me know..........

Does it have a draining/squeezing facility, or is it just a container with a spring-loaded lid?

The only thing that has stopped me so far is the fear that I am buying something I could use an empty yogurt carton for (complete with sticky-backed plastic, of course!).

OH's concern is that it's

'Something else to clutter up the ***** kitchen with'.

Consumer report, please!

PS Dare I say, ...avatar??? And no, not of the tea bag tin!

LEE 18-03-2003 09:01 AM

Whoops sorry ROB, I completely forgot about your avatar, but have just now done it for you

Any excuse to put off starting work for a bit longer.

I still haven't made that cup of tea, cos the phone went and I got distracted. I will be back later with a full consumer report though

Romantic Old Bird 18-03-2003 09:18 AM

Thanks Lee

Don't they look nice?

You may now have that well earned cup of tea!!

BusyBee 18-03-2003 03:59 PM

I'll get in with my consumer report first. Bought one for our dept's kitchen in work and took in to-day. Got a few "What the hell is that for" Then "Oh, that's a good idea I'm fed up of having to wipe up all the drips".
In fact I've had a few enquiries about where to get one. Think I'll ask Stuart for a bit of commission.
:hugesmile::hugesmile:

Had a quick look just now and it has been well used - nice and full - all ready to empty.

No-one has yet picked up on where it came from or any BB connection. I'm dreading it when they do:shocked::shocked::shocked:

You probably could use a yogurt pot, but it looks quite stylish on the worktop even if it is made of plastic. Wonder if they had any input from a certain young designer?

Not sure how long the spring loaded top will work for though, quite ingenious.
