Door-to-door sales people?
 

How do you deal with them? Do you submit easily and buy what they sell or are you rude? XD

I used to be one for 3 months trying to sign up people for charity and it was actually loads of fun, but commission only.

I say I don't sell on the door and they usually leave

We don't really get them, there was a woman a few months back trying to sell drawings but that's about it.

..we don't really get many either, we're a bit too in the middle of nowhere land...

..we do get lots of Jehovah Witnesses though/odd...

We get those,I have a chat with them and have a magazine and off they go.

I havent had one since the 80s

No door to door sales people here.

I get door to door salesmen all the time. They preach about how good they are and then produce figures but If they were that great, they wouldn't need to go touting for custom on doorsteps. I don't even answer my door now. I just shoo them away from my bay window and they get the message. Same with Jehovah Witnesses. lol

We tend to get either charities, gas/electric people or the Labour Party around here.

Charities rarely. Mostly for veterans. Jehovas witnesses try and ring the bell a few times and then put the flier through the postal hatch.

I just slam the door on them. When it comes to Holy Rollers though, I **** around with them.

We do get a few.

I'll politely decline what they're offering and if they still remain insistent I decline them once more in a less polite fashion.

I always feel sorry for them and if they are not the pushy sort, I usually buy something from them.

the worst ones are the charity workers i got stopped by about 5 today when i was in town
