Spoke to the finalists today - thoughts

Had the honour today of speaking to all 6 finalists on the phone, was a funny 3 hours!

Basically all the press get the info sent to them with a phone number, an access code and a time, then about 2 minutes before the time everyone phones up and then asks questions to the evicted housemate, I did these for Nadia, Patsy, Kav and Cami in January and it was the definition of a shouting match to get your questions in.

Today was really different though, no one talked over each other and it felt more intimate.

First up was Cristian, quite forgettable but seemed a genuinely lovely guy who was there to be himself.

Then I got to speak to my Nick, for some reason I got a bit stuttery for this (mainly due to the fact on launch night I sorta fell for him :hehe:), he was a nice guy, really nervous but a genuine guy who loved his experience, I did feel for him as there was only me, Digital Spy and the daily star there. :joker:

Then was Jack, I'm not a Jack fan, in fact I voted to evict him against Simon, however I was proved wrong today, he was such a talkable person, without sounding strange I seemed to get on well with him, he's a nice normal guy. (At this point only me and DS were left, even the star left )

Danny was next, I know the hate Danny gets on here, but it did seem like he was saying stuff knowing it would get press attention, seemed a nice enough guy however.

Then my Joel, I voted for him to win, again at this point the daily star left again, but us three had a real laugh; DS asked him if he'd be a slut dropping prime minister , he is such a funny guy and the conversation was so much fun.

Then Chloe, bit of an anti climax with her, she stated she was giving the 16,100 pound to McMillan nurses and explained why the charity was so close to her heart, you could tell she was upset at the subject bless her, whatever proe say about her, I believe she is who she is, I did only get to ask 2 or 3 questions due to a flood of journalists entering the call.

Overall such an excellent day of chats, I believe DS are publishing articles of them all :)

Lmao only 3 people at the press event

That sounds cool.

Poor you during CBB15, though. From Cami screaming at you, to Kavana not saying anything at all... Glad to hear this one went well.

Cami had a tantrum at journalists for calling Ken his name rather than 'Ben'

Why was Chloe an anti-climax? I'd rather a winner that donates to charity than one who aspires to be the first slut dropping PM :joker:

I was very happy with her winning, she just wasn't the most interesting

It's really sad that BB is a non entity in the press, they don't even bother to pick up the phone
BB is pretty dead...

The Daily Star journalist just picking and choosing which housemates he wanted to speak too? lmao

Considering how many journos came out of the woodwork for Chloe...

"Exclusive interview with the Big Brother winner!" sounds better - and would naturally generate more interest - than "exclusive interview with the Big Brother fifth-placed housemate!" though

Even if it wasn't exclusive but I get the point :)
