There could've been NINE finalists?

I always wonder what the show would've done if we had Rylan going in as Jonathan's replacement (if it had not been leaked by the press :fist:) as well as the sixth Halfway Housemate who dropped out days before entrance. If you had that, as well as Amanda & Sam not being one housemate, it would mean that there would've been NINE finalists unless they had like four double evictions in a row.

Would they have extended the series to fourteen or even fifteen weeks? I just don't see why they'd choose to throw in all these housemates if they only had weeks left until the final.

Didn't Seany replace Rylan?

Really? Rylan was exposed to the media like a day before the double entry so I didn't think that was enough time to grab a replacement.

Still, I suppose if Chanelle and Jonathan didn't walk we would've still had a lot of finalists.

Everything in BB8 was made up as they went along so it wouldn't surprise me

It was odd that they out in FIVE new HMs 5 weeks before the final.

Having 14 HMs at that stage was weird. Although it was odd and unfair to the originals, I do actually believe they were an interesting bunch and helped sustain the series until the end.

Shanessa was wasted though. I'd loved to have seen how her rivalry with Amy developed.

Lol Jonty and Kara-Whoise (Kara-Whoise <3) didn't help to sustain anything, it was just another case of the old housemates uniting to get the new ones out for weeks on end and they helped to sink BB8 to new depths of awful, regardless of whether any of them were good housemates or not. And in the case of at least two or three of them, that's a 'not'.

And I agree that Shanessa was wasted, but... probably not in the same sense as you were implying.

Kara-Godise >>

Halfway housemates were such a mess and I disliked pretty much the most of them. All the hms swaps were so ridiculous. :nono:

Aw come on Kara was great <3 With her armpit plucking. And Jonty with his nudity and flatulence :D

No seriously though, imagine if Charley had been evicted and Chanelle walked and then we were left with twins, Carole, Tracey, Liam, Gerry, Ziggy and Brian for the final five weeks :o

Now this I agree with. That was genuinely an abominable twist. As were many of the BB8 ones. However, when I think of Danielle and Sam's evictions, the BB8 twists don't seem so bad.
