BB follow up program: The HMs one week on.
 

Inspired by looking at Jack's thread of photos of the HMs after the series has ended, i think it would be a great idea for channel 5 to make a follow up program catching up with the HMs one week on.

It would be great to see what REALLY happened on eviction night, on the last BOTS, at the after show party and see who got together with who, who fell out with who and especially what they all think of each other having watched the show back!

Man alive it would be a great end to every series of civilian BB.

They could show it the night before celebrity BB starts as an appetizer.

They won't do a winner's week/WTHDN - they have CBB on their mind and they actually couldn't care less about BB16 anymore...

They used to do these back in the day. They were good to watch, even for the non-interesting hm's, to see what they got up to. They probably don't do it anymore because there aren't many opportunities awaiting hm's when they leave these days, so it would literally just be a show covering the after party. I loved What The Housemates Did Next but C5 era really couldn't pull it off.

Other then Jade or Cristian getting a calendar deal or Eileen releasing a flop single there is nothing for the housemates to do except flutter back to irrelevance.

However, I would like to see after-party goss and arguments hehe

I agree but for this to happen we should have an interesting group of hms and we have to get to know them to care about them as people.

I dont think we will ever have this again because we dont even see the housemates IN the house.

Even though there are a few housemates I prefer never to see again, I think it's a great idea. Especially if they have watched the whole show since they left.

great idea adds a new dimension to it as well they need to appeal to a wider audience.

We easily forget them. I couldn't tell you who was in it last year, except Helen and Ash. I've forgotten everyone else.

That'll be 'old hat' they used to years ago - not a new idea

Yeah, they used to do something similar every year usually a week after the final.
Sometimes it was just about the winner but other years it was a general catchup on all of the housemates (usually more about the finalists though).
It just used to show them doing tabloid interviews and photoshoots, doing a bit of shopping and maybe hanging out with their mates in a club or something. Pretty mundane stuff usually but back in the day when BB was really good it kinda' helped a bit with the 'comedown' after the show finished.

They did one for Aaron in BB12 and it got like 100,000 viewers or something so...

Also, if they don't even bother showing us the last day in the house, I'm sure they wouldn't care less what the HMs did next.

"What the Housemates Did Next" wouldn't work for C5 because the housemates don't do anything next.
