Is it time to axe normal big brother

Let's not be dramatic here as long as the show is getting 1 million viewers then it won't be axed in a hurry. Who need to be axed are the producers who have destroyed this show.

It's the lowest rated series on c5 to date I think the may start didn't help

That isn't a very accurate average as half the ratings in the table don't include Ch5+1.

Channel 5's ratings haven't gone over a million once from what I've seen since BB finished so they need all the help they can get.

No it isn't, and this is the first thread you've made like this. Channel 5 are struggling to get over 1 Million viewers since Big Brother ended, so the show is clearly still their highest rating program. As long as Big Brother brings Channel 5 1 Million or over, there is no danger of the show going anywhere. Big Brother will be back next year for the seventeenth series.
