Not knowing what "polyamorous" means

Fair enough not having heard of it, but surely it's easy to work out what it means, from the name? Poly + amorous, surely it's obvious?

I know it meant one loves parrots. ;)

Jade was more Polyannoyance than Polyamorous.

She made that up to stand out and get camera time. And boy did she LOVE explaining it over and over. Funny thing is...as the season went on, I found myself actually MISSING her because many of the others became such a drag.

These so called polyamorous usually get bored and end up marrying into a monogamous relationship by the time age 28 hits or they end up being vegan / rather corpulent cat loving polyamorous ladies with 2 wimpy balding beta or gamma males who like cos play as lovers. Polyamourous will be passé in 2020, mixed orientation relationships and non binary gender are the new buzz phrase relationship and identity words.

I knew what Polyamourous meant but it it's one of those trendy new words to describe sexuality and identity like
  • gender fluid
  • genderqueer
  • two spirit
  • cisgender
  • transgender women of color
  • pregnant men
  • bathroom/female locker room transgender activists
  • monosexuality
  • flexisexuals
  • posh swingers
  • lesbian /woman with a penis
  • gay male/ man with a vagina
  • ace (asexual person)
  • pansexual
  • demisexual
  • homoflexible
  • heterosexual
  • (we hate) hetero normative people
  • AFAB (Assigned female at birth)
  • AMAB (Assigned male at birth)

Blah blah, blah. :sleep::sleep:

Highly narcissistic dangerously self indulgent people imo eg folk who live out their lives on YouTube posting '2 years on T' clips.

When I was younger, it was just called "playing the field", no fancy titles needed.
