LOVE Island legend Paul Danan is the latest star set for CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER.

The former Hollyoaks actor — who became a cult favourite after appearing on the first two series of the ITV show, in 2005 and 2006 — is due to enter the Channel 5 house next month.

Interest in the madcap star has built up since ITV2 resurrected Love Island earlier in the summer and insiders suggest Paul is keen to capitalise on that.

A source said: “Paul has been the talk of the CBB team since Love Island returned to our screens.

“While he is not as crazy as he was back in 2005, producers hope he will bring some mischief to the house.”

Paul was nicknamed “Dangerous Danan” following his outrageous exploits on series one of Celebrity Love Island, which saw him fall “in love” with Lady Isabella Hervey and eventually be removed from the villa after a drunken row.

He returned for the second series and spent most of his time tearfully bickering with supermodel Sophie Anderton.

I loved him on Love Island back in the day.

I've always thought he should've done CBB years ago back when it was on C4, and he was still bonkers. Interesting to see what he will bring.

All these good names rumored for summer CBB, though. Save them for January.

Atleast they are actually trying with summer CBB tho
