Lighten up Dirk!

He only shows any interest if he is talking about himself.
Yes he's the oldest and probably thought that task was childish, but he brings the mood down

Nowhere 14-01-2007 08:41 PM

You seem to really dislike Dirk.. I'm not trying to belittle your opinion in any way, but you're picking at the smallest details, when I can see greater, and more visible flaws in other HMs'

CJ4Life 14-01-2007 08:44 PM

I see the side to him others don't want to. I see someone who has disappeared up his own backside. His fawning over Shilpa freaks me out.

Nowhere 14-01-2007 08:47 PM

Well I wouldn't call it fawning, Shilpa appears to enjoy the flirtation. He is no more 'up his backside' than Shilpa is. I've seen all the sides he has shown in BB sofar, and I still think he's a great guy, so I guess it just comes down to matter of opinion.

Siouxsie 14-01-2007 08:49 PM

I can honestly say he does like the sound of his own voice though

Nowhere 14-01-2007 08:51 PM

I think he just has many stories he likes to share, which I enjoy listening to, maybe he does like the sound of his own voice a little, but what''s wrong with that, he's entertaining in my eyes. :spin:

Siouxsie 14-01-2007 08:53 PM

I dont like him and i dont dislike him I suppose he is ok

Jay 14-01-2007 08:53 PM

His stories are interesting also it's a good way to pass time, also i think he's one of the happiest housemates in there, ive only seen him unhappy a couple of times the rest of the time he's been happy.

Dan_ 14-01-2007 08:53 PM

When you've just such boring conversations going on the house no wonder he talks alot trying to spark off something interesting rather than 'oh Shilpa's a dog'.

Look at him dancing now, happy enough for you?

Got to admit he was funny dancing :cheer:

I just find this love for him over the top.

Dan_ 14-01-2007 08:58 PM

I find your continual picking at him over the top. He's hardly done anything wrong, well not enough to make an issue out of.

I could say I find your love for Cleo over the top, (Not that I do, I think she's invaluable to the house) All it comes down to is preference.

You don't have to reply. I don't reply to every thread in here, especially ones that don't interest me.

Dirk was pretty good during the task i thought, ok he started off looking a bit annoyed about it but then once Jermaine got him motivated he really got involved and had a good laugh.

But it does interest me, it's something to debate about despite it being minor issues.
