NOT the homophobe

Shaun 28-07-2015 06:08 PM

Ray, Anna, Helen or Adam.

I'd probably say Adam if pushed. So disappointed he couldn't have been our first American winner rather than Busey :(

Only ones I've disliked are Glyn, Joel and Jay though.

CBB-wise, either Jermaine or Abz. Or Terry.

If he's a homophobe then so is 'Queen Danielle'

Who was best friends with a near constantly naked Mario?

(the forcing of her soldiers down their/our throats was a bit tiring though and ultimately what cost ha the win)

EspeonBB 28-07-2015 06:12 PM

Ashleigh  (I've only seen the first few weeks on BB1 but I love Anna too)

(excuse me forcing Luke and Adam to pray every night that everyone else gets killed or something and non-ironically suggesting that they should call themselves the Deana Crew was nothing but amazing throughout) (see also: her last-minute fiery hatred of Luke S)

LukeB 28-07-2015 06:15 PM

Glyn obvs

MB. 28-07-2015 06:15 PM

Actually I'd probably go with Anna except

I always thought it was the drunk berating of Luke S that cost Deanasus the win. I mean I loved every minute of it but the public found it 'bitchy' or whatever

Lostie! 28-07-2015 06:18 PM

Ashleigh. :)

And Dave wasn't homophobic at all from what I remember. All I recall is his views on gay marriage, which itself doesn't make someone a homophobe.

Thank you! Josie asked him if he would officiate a gay wedding, to which he replied that he believed everyone can love who they want to love as long as they're not hurting anyone and that they should be able to marry, but he just wouldn't be able to preform the ceremony, which is completely understandable and not homophobic

Stand that side-by-side with Danielle's 'I don't believe in gay marriage' and let's see which one looks worse.

Shaun 28-07-2015 06:20 PM

yeah I remember on here there was a noticeable change of tide in sentiment about her when she kept doing the soldiers routine, begging them to all stick together and take Luke down, not to trust Scott, etc, but hating on Luke S, who was ultimately the Paul to the Insiders' S Club 7, was the final nail in the coffin.

MB. 28-07-2015 06:23 PM

Well Scott (and his family) nominated her for the last four weeks so she had a point

There is obviously stuff that wasn't shown otherwise Shabby's would not have been so offended

LukeB 28-07-2015 06:24 PM

Dave is gross and one the worst runner ups

You mean the easily offended, highly irritable Shabby, with a predetermined hateful opinion of Dave and everything he said/did? :joker:

Not necessarily, some people genuinely are just really offended and outraged about the fact that some people have differing views on marriage. I don't think suggesting he said homophobic things based on no real evidence is really fair. Also, Shabby was rather emotionally volatile anyway.

I wasn't a huge fan of Dave and his "glory" thing, but I never got the impression that he has negative feelings towards gay people at all.
