Ideas for promotion
 

I really liked how they promoted the last series of Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 4 when they used the classical music and the fire theme.

I think for the UK vs USA theme they could used a reworked, national anthem type theme for Big Brother for 2 separate adverts.

One could have the USA national anthem intertwined with the Big Brother theme, USA USA USA! , USA, UK, who wins? You decide, Celebrity Big Brother starts....

God save the Queen! or Rule Britannia could be used. UK vs USA, who wins you decide Celebrity Big Brother starts....with silhouettes of the potential housemates.

12 housemates, 6 UK, 6 US all fighting for the right to be the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 16, who wins, you decide.....

On launch night:
UK vs USA.....let battle commence!

A memorable moments type show for CBB and/or BB (similar to CBB: The Best, Worst, and the Unforgettable that aired in January before CBB15) before the start of each new series. This is a nice something to get people in the mood for BB again. C4 used to do these annually for BB and CBB like a week before each series started. Just recycle the C4 ones, and update them and have new guests, etc.

I think if a concerted effort was made to advertise the series, ratings would improve by 250-500,000 or even 1 million.
