China accused of ripping off Frozen's "Let It Go" for Beijing Winter Olympics

China has unveiled its 10 official songs for the 2022 Winter Olympics - but critics have given one track an overwhelming thumbs down thanks to its remarkable similarity to the Frozen theme tune.
Titled 'Bing Xue Wu Dong', which translates as The Snow and Ice Dance, the song in question is performed by local singers Sun Nan and Tan Jing.
But as soon as the official themes were released, Chinese music lovers accused the song's writers of plagiarising 'Let it Go' - the global hit performed by the character Elsa in the Disney blockbuster.
The controversy over the the theme song follows a furious reaction to Beijing being awarded the right to host the event in the first place - with serious concerns over China's human rights records and the fact it plans to stage many events on snow-less mountains in the desert.

It is literally just Let it go.. bloody hilarious.

It sounds a lot less like it by the end, but yeah it's almost identical for a significant portion. :laugh:

Still, I think it's a nice song (not that I can understand a word being sang), but I get why people taking issue with it.

Does this song suck then?
