No offense but I've never really payed much to The Voice Irish contestants before, but I might after this.

I love intense performers, it's a shame that they never get appreciated enough on these shows.

She had already shown off her vocal range quite a bit within the last few performances she had done before the semi-finals, so I think she was trying to show that she had the ability to put on a show as well as having the vocal talent to back it up, which she more than proved imo because she was essentially robbed when it was the best performance of the entire series.

Yup, I guess the Voice of Ireland is similar to The Voice UK in that way, the better singer usually comes second. That guy had a bit of a sob story going on too where as Emma was just a normal girl
