Speak a little Spanish I'm taking it for GCSE but I'm picking it up quite quickly and I want to continue Spanish at A-Level

I wish to learn patois (Nicki Minaj's drunk talk video inspired me tbh)

Jason. 20-08-2015 04:29 PM

Spanish GCSE was the worst. Nine years later and that musty classroom still hasn't escaped my memory

I really like it tbh I find it so interesting. My teacher is really good though and I'm getting way above my target grade in tests and pieces of coursework

Xtopher 20-08-2015 04:31 PM

Not really. I grew up around spanish but no one taught me fluently. I just know a bit to get by.

No point

English is a universal language

Liam- 20-08-2015 04:33 PM

At one point I was semi-fluent in Welsh.. but now I've forgotten everything so I don't think it counts.

Daniel-X 20-08-2015 04:33 PM

My grandparents used to try and make me learn Irish because they're both Irish and you can TELL. This was like when I was little and I never used to be able to speak it and my granddad would get annoyed so my mum told them to stop making me do it so young and try when I'm older but they never tried again.

to talk about people in public?

smudgie 20-08-2015 04:36 PM

Top of the class in Afrikaans, much to my dads disgust, he wondered why I was better than the Afrikaners
I could understand enough German to help the kids with homework as a lot of it is similar to Dutch/ Afrikaans.

I would love to learn Portuguese or French but my little grey cells could not cope now.:bawling:

Well all I can say is that you'd struggle in places like Japan.
