rubymoo 21-08-2015 09:25 AM

Crimson Dynamo 21-08-2015 09:28 AM

..LT....

..I guess I should wish something similar and that my mum was more aware of who we are but I think maybe since my dad died, her world has much less pain now and maybe it's a much happier place for her....

...my wish I think...my best friend died at 16yrs old in a crash on her boyfriend's motorbike, her first boyfriend/her first date...so it would be to be able to somehow go back and not let her go on that date...

Shaun 21-08-2015 09:38 AM

enough money to get rid of family/personal debts & be secure (ie. own house, for either me or my mum)

Do you ever think would your life be different if your friend hadn't died? My best friend died when she was 18 and I often think about that, if she hadn't died would my own path in life have changed somehow

...I think/wonder how would she be/how would her life be now/if she would have children etc and would her children and my children have been friends...it's strange how much I think about her still with so long ago it was and I can't ever think about her without crying and feeling so sad/maybe because I hadn't ever known anyone young to die before as well, well not someone I talked to every day, you know...all I know really is that I have good friends/great friends but I've never thought of anyone in my life as a 'best friend' other than her....

mmm I think my own life may have been totally different if my friend hadn't died. She was supposed to move to London with me and another friend but she died before that happened and I reckon if she had come with me, I would have had completely different experiences and may not have ended up in the same place.

I have many personal wishes I could make (who hasn't?) but I believe that all personal problems - no matter how overwhelming they may appear at the time - can, and are, eventually overcome. So with this being so; I wish that IS, ISIS, ISIL, BOKO HARUM and every other terrorist organisation in the world would simply disappear from the face of the Earth in a nano second.

...yeah, I guess it's like the movie Sliding Doors...you may never have met Gav and have your children now and that's not something that you would ever want to be changed but then it's not something you would ever have been aware of...it would just have been a 'different Niamh life'..the roads we take, eh.../and the things that determine those...

...yeah, it's really weird to think that the most important people in your lives are people that you would never even be aware of if something had or hadn't happened to cause that path to be taken that lead you to where you are now...my dad used to always say that, you know when rubbish stuff happened that sucked...that 'things happen for a reason', even the awful stuff...he got on my nerves when he said it....but yeah, wise old guy...it's why I don't regret either because bad stuff can lead to good stuff and lead you where you were meant to be...

The people I love to have long healthy lives

Mystic Mock 21-08-2015 11:55 AM

There's some sad events on this thread.

For me personally it would be to get my parents to stop Smoking, it's dangerous to their health, and it's dangerous to everybody's health that's around them, and instead of spending something like £16 a week on the stuff, it could actually be spent on something either more worthwhile, or something more fun for them.

That a certain little boy would come back to his mommy and daddy and such a fate had never happened to him or anyone else ever again.
