If one of your children killed their siblings...

by accident, what would you do? Would you help them cover it up or would you shop them to the police?

Iceman 21-08-2015 04:46 PM

If my child was Bobby he'd be dead by now.

Marsh. 21-08-2015 04:53 PM

Depends which child is my favourite.

Kazanne 21-08-2015 04:59 PM

I think I would tell the police ,as to cover something like that up would be a lifetime of deceipt, don't think the child would be in too much trouble if it was an accident.

what a horrible situation :/ If it was an accident though why would it need to be covered up?

smudgie 21-08-2015 07:04 PM

Hopefully, even in my grief, I would find the best lawyer money could buy, then after if was all over pay for a good shrink, for them as well as me.
What a horrific situation to be in.

Cal. 21-08-2015 07:13 PM

Cover it up since it would ruin the surviving kids life, better to still have one child out of the situation than lose both involved.

user104658 21-08-2015 07:48 PM

If it was an accident you wouldn't need to cover it up, if it wasn't an accident then the surviving child obviously needs psychological help so covering it up would be a bad idea (or impossible)...

Northern Monkey 21-08-2015 11:23 PM

You more than likely could'nt get away with covering it up these days even if you wanted to.As said above,If it was accidental then no cover up would be necessary. They'd defo be grounded and pocket money stopped for atleast a fortnight though.

Mystic Mock 22-08-2015 01:15 AM

If it's an accident then I'd easily tell The Police.

armand.kay 22-08-2015 01:44 AM

i wouldn't cover it up it would just cause more stress for everyone etc.

Natalie. 22-08-2015 06:51 AM

I couldn't cover it up

jennyjuniper 22-08-2015 09:56 AM

If they were mature enough to handle it and it really was an accident I would encourage them to go to the police themselves. If they were young when it happened, I would probably take the blame for the accident.

Because even though it was an accident they still intended to harm them, so they hit them lets say, and they fell and hit their head and died, so they'd still be arrested for manslaughter
