Computer HELP NEEDED!
My friend's pc is being all silly and everytime they type @ they get ".
Is there a way to fix that with any setting that anybody knows of? |
Does it write in caps when the caps lock isn't on?
their keyboard is like what the mac is, they should get @ when they click shift-2 now
Shift key and " and it should work if they've been swapped.
Think that's how all European keyboards are, apart from British ones. Always had to copy and paste the @ sign from a google search when I used the computers in hostels
Is there a way to swap them back?
your problem sounds like my wife.
Shift and 2 will get @ working. as reece said, it appears they've been swapped. this happens sometimes, no idea how to properly fix it though.

US keyboard has been selected, change in the control panel of the computer or the configuration of whatever program it's happening in.
