James Hill appearing on CBB to save 'depressed' Dad?

FORMER Apprentice star James Hill is set to star in this summer's Celebrity Big Brother in a possible bid to save the family business.

The 20-something TV star has been heavily reported to enter the famous house for sometime now but Daily Star Online have learned James' appearance is more than just a profile booster.

In fact, the fee James has negotiated with Channel 5 may be set to go straight to his dad and the family business amid bankruptcy fears.

A Chesterfield magistrates' court heard how James' dad Jason is living in constant fear his money will dry up.

During a recent appearance in the dock for six charges including two health and safety breaches at family owned club Havana Whites and four counts of failing to comply with fire legislation, a legal rep for for James' dad told the court: "He's potless, he believes he's going to be made bankrupt in due course and his doctor has diagnosed him as depressed and stressed."

While at a previous hearing it was revealed Jason Hill has thousands of pounds worth of debts and has been forced to complete odd jobs for family and friends at just £150-a-week.

To make matters worse he has now been ordered to pay £10,217.85 in fines, costs and a victim surcharge.

That's on top of a £6,000 fine TV wannabe James has had to fork out after pleading guilty to two charges for failing to care for the health and safety of himself and other people while at the boozer hotspot.

While Big Brother and Channel 5 are keen to keep show fees under wraps, it is believed that figures start from £20,000 for just a matter of weeks inside the house and can range up to £400,000.

Even if James is to collect the lowest pay-packet of this year's showbiz housemates it would go a long way relieve family woes.

It should be noted however, that despite apparent concerns there are currently no bankruptcy proceedings against James or Jason Hill.

A rep for James Hill has been contacted by Daily Star Online.

That's a pretty decent reason to go in

I agree, It be nice to see more of him tbh.. he gets some hate but we don't really know him that well. Just stories. When they could be a nice person who did something silly

I have no time for people who use money to try and solve their problems. :hmph:
