In 2010, Thomas was involved in an incident in which he made homophobic comments to an Emmerdale fan. When student Ricky Platts introduced himself, Thomas preceded to brand Platts as a "gay boy" and a "queer", which Platts also gained video footage of. Thomas later made a public apology for his comments and an LGBT activist called for the serial's producers to take "decisive action" against Thomas.

I'm happy if he does go in because it means the Suns 'confirmed lineup' wasn't right after all, which is good BC I'd rather know on launch night
