Isn't James Hill famous for

Being on the Apprentice and being a violent thug?

It is the reason that he is more famous than everybody else from the same series though.. Was expecting it to get a mention. To be honest I was expecting his game plan to be a redemption story, not denial!

Everybody talked about the reason why they are famous in their VT. James is the only one who did not, why?

Jay. 28-08-2015 08:52 AM

depends what you know him for

i only know him from the apprentice

The reason they brought him on and not any of the other ~150 contestants was because of his personal life, i found it weird that his personal life wasn't brought up in his VT, without it, he isn't very famous at all. He came 9th.

Yes he may view that as a Blip
I would like him to bring it up in full

Pete. 28-08-2015 09:09 AM

I recall him only coming for women like Bianca and Roisin

I thought he would have been made to so I was pretty confused about it.. Jenna, Tila and Farrah talked about their dodgy careers and not how much they loved their kids and dogs, assumed it would be the same rules for everybody.

Well it's the first I've heard of it in all honesty. It's like saying why did they cast Stevi & Chloe instead of Paul Akister, for example? Because it's obvious that he's got a more potentially entertaining character just as they have.

Stevi and Chloe are more famous than Paul, they discussed the reasons why in their VT. They were the series joke acts who got engaged and remained in the public eye long after the show ended. Every other contestant talked about when why and how they are in the public eye too. The only reason James (and Luisa) is seen as more than just an ex-apprentice loser is because of their social life. It just didn't make sense to me that James' social life wasn't brought up considering he isn't particularly famous whatsoever without it.

People remember him as that knob from the apprentice, it is what he is "famous" for. He is not famous to me for having a personal life as I couldn't care less.

Three quarters of the contestants are knobs, he's the knob that went to prison. Without the prison sentence, coming 9th and being a knob on a show 10 months ago does not make you a celeb... Otherwise they would have brought in the guy who came 8th.. Who was also a knob..

Going to prison in your personal life doesn't make you a celeb. He was a stand out idiot on the apprentice. As candidates go, he was up there with the worst of them, that's why he is on the show, I think. The definition of celeb is pretty loose on BB anyway, I would have been very happy not to have heard or seen anything from him again after the apprentice

I hope he bites them all

Ashley. 28-08-2015 10:48 AM

Not this bull**** happening again

I guess we're going to be reminded of this every single day until the season ends?

I don't see why the OP is getting such a hard time from some people for bringing this up. It's reasonable that some people will have reservarions about someone who's been in the papers for allegedly attacking someone.

It's also a discussion forum for people to discuss the housemates so, again, it's hardly unreasonable for someone to bring it up.
